"Dredging The Channel And Regulating Zang Fu " In The Treatment Of Metabolic Syndrome(Stagnation Of Liver And Stomach Heat Syndrome) Clinical Observation

Purpose: This subject is based on the "main and collateral channels", "Fu" theory as the core, carry out acupuncture, massage, traditional Chinese medicine comprehensive therapy(Dredging the channel and Regulating Zang Fu), the treatment of metabolic syndrome(liver stomach heat syndrome), with metformin and pure Chinese medicine contrast, observe the clinical efficacy and safety.Method: The diet control and exercise therapy for 1 month washout period intervention,screening with inclusion criteria of 90 patients, using simple random, control method,according to the patients’ medical order grouping, by adjusting viscera treatment group,western medicine control group, Chinese medicine control group, each group in 30 patients.The Dredging the channel and Regulating Zang Fu group were treated with Metabolism NO.1 Prescription orally treatment and acupuncture and massage therapy,western medicine control group was given metformin treatment, traditional Chinese medicine control group received Metabolism NO.1 Prescription orally treatment, observation of clinical curative effect for 12 weeks. Observe and record the clinical symptoms of patients before and after treatment, body weight, BMI, waist circumference, triglyceride, fasting blood glucose,postprandial 2 hour blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, fasting insulin, insulin resistance index.Result: The Dredging the channel and Regulating Zang Fu group can significantly reduce the body weight, BMI, waist circumference, in reducing postprandial 2 hour blood glucose, triglyceride, insulin resistance and decrease insulin resistance index and Western medicine, traditional Chinese medicine control group comparison was statistically significant difference(P< 0.01), decrease in fasting blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, traditional Chinese Medicine and Western medicine control index group comparison was statistically significant(P<0.05). In the overall effect by The Dredging the channel and Regulating Zang Fu group the total effective rate was 93.33%, traditional Chinese medicine control group the total effective rate was 90%, control group total effective rate was 83.3%. The statistical analysis showed: by The Dredging the channel and Regulating Zang Fu group and Western medicine, Chinese medicine groups were significantly difference compared with controlgroup(P< 0.01). Before and after treatment found no toxic side effects.Conclusion: Methods through adjusting internal organs, main and collateral channels outside for the treatment of metabolic syndrome(liver stomach heat syndrome) clinical curative effect, can significantly reduce the body weight, waist circumference, lower BMI,play a role in weight loss, lower blood sugar, glycosylated hemoglobin significantly,triglyceride, fasting insulin and other indexes effect, effectively reduce the insulin resistance index, and significantly improve the clinical symptoms in patients with Chinese medicine. To reduce the side effects of Western medicine, the clinical application is safe and reliable, and is worthy of popularization and application.
