Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Tuina in the treatment of peripheral facialparalysis, and compared with the regular acupuncture treatment.Comparing the differencebetween the two on peripheral facial paralysis symptoms and signs in the treatmentprocess.Then explore the feasible for treatment of peripheral facial paralysis and the betterscheme.Method:With the adoption of random, single blind and controlled trial, we dividedthe60patients of peripheral facial paralysis samples as the Tuina group (treatment group)and regular acupuncture group (control group),30cases in each group. After two weekstreatment of both groups, compared the differences between the clinical effects of the twogroups,and evaluated the safety scientifically.Result: By statistical analysis, two groups of patients before and after treatmentsymptoms’ score were significantly different (P<0.05).The total effective rate was90.00%in treatment group, and the total effective rate was93.33%in control group.Theresult shows that both the two treatment methods can effectively improve the symptoms ofpatients and have the good clinical curative effect; after treatment between the groups, nosignificant differences between two groups of symptoms (P>0.05), and this showed thatthe treatment group and the control group were similar in improving the symptoms offacial paralysis.Conclusion: Tuina therapy and routine acupuncture therapy has better curative effecton peripheral facial paralysis, and the application of Tuina therapy will not increase inpatients with additional pain during treatment. The safety and economic, convenient, non-toxic side effects, clinical application of therapy is effective for the treatment of peripheralfacial paralysis.
