Treatment Effect Of Shenfu Injection In Therapy Of Patients With Severe Septic Shock

Objective:To investigate the effect outcome of Shenfu Injection in early goal-directedtherapy in patients with septic shock.Methods: Using a prospective, controlled study method to divided total of60patientswith septic shock who admitted in ICU from May2009to Dec2011into two groupsrandomly: experiment group, control group. The two groups were given regular treatmentaccording to the goals of central venous pressure (CVP)8-12mmHg (1mmHg=0.133kPa),mean arterial pressure (MAP)≥65mmHg, venous oxygen saturation (SvO2)>0.70(superiorvena cava saturation), and urine output≥0.5ml/min. On the basis of routine treatment,Shenfu injection (10ml/branch, Ya’an Sanjiu Pharmaceutical Limited Company, batchnumber: STATE MEDICAL PERMITMENT Z20043117) were given daily for micro pumptreatment. Based on those treatment, the experiment group used micro pump treatment forShenfu Injection100ml/d, observation for72hours. The blood gas analysis, serum lactate,biochemical examinations, Chinese medical syndrome score at0h,6h,24h,48h and72h, andthe vasoactive drug aggregates, the days of patients who ventilation, the days in ICU, themortality of the patients on7days and28days were recorded and analysis ed.Results：1．Comparing between the two groups, the Chinese medical syndrome score ofexperiment group was reduced much more than control group (p=0.031), and the death ratein28days was lower (P=0.042). Also, the hours of using ventilator (96.0±123.10,108.59±176.01), the days to be in ICU (8.32±5.12,9.25±8.37) and death rate in7days(13.33%,20.00%)of the experiment was shorter, but have no statistical significancecompared with the control group(P＞0.05).2．The two groups both have different decreaselevel in CK, CKMB, Cr, BUN, ALT, AST after therapy, but there have no changes between the two groups(P＞0.05).3. Comparing between the two groups, the experiment therapygroup spent less number of fluid resuscitation in total, vasoactive drugs used in total thanthe control one（P=0.047）.Conclusion：1. Both Shenfu experiment group and control group can improve organfunction.2. Shenfu experiment group can decrease the Chinese medical syndrome score and thedeath rate in28days, also induced the days in ICU, days of patients who ventilation.3. Shenfu experiment group can in a shorter period of time correct shock and hypoxiacondition, reduce the dosage of vasoactive drugs and duration of medication, having theclinical application value.
