Objective By studying musicoelectroacupuncture scalpspoint-through-point therapy on the activity of substantia nigraincluding Na+-K+-ATPase in the brain of rat with parkinson’sdisease, explore the musicoelectroacupuncture scalpspoint-through-point therapy in the process of the treatment ofParkinson’s disease to maintain neuronal cell and molecularmechanism of calcium homeostasis. Methods The partial lateral rotation Parkinson’s diseasemodel in rats were modeled by double target trace injection in theunilateral striatum with6-hydroxy dopamine (6-OHDA). All theexperimental rats were divided into five groups by randomallocation methods:normal group,sham-operated group, modelgroup, madopar group, musicoelectroacupuncture group, each grouphad thirty-six rats. Musicoelectroacupuncture group and madopargroup were respectively treated by musicoelectroacupuncture+madopar and madopar. The substantia nigra was separated from thebrain of experimental rats after observation period.(1) The proteincontent was measured by Coomassie brilliant blue method.(2) TheNa+-K+-ATPase activity of substantia nigra in rats was detected byspectrophotometry. Results (1) The activity of substantia nigra including Na+-K+-ATPase in the brain of rat of model group was lower than theactivity of substantia nigra including Na+-K+-ATPase in the brainof rat of normal group and sham-operated group, with statisticallysignificant difference(P<0.01).(2) The activity of substantia nigraincluding Na+-K+-ATPase in the brain of rat ofmusicoelectroacupuncture group was higher than that of modelgroup, with statistically significant difference(P<0.01).(3) Theactivity of substantia nigra including Na+-K+-ATPase in the brain of rat of madopar group was higher than that of model group, withstatistically significant difference(P<0.01).(4) The activity ofsubstantia nigra including Na+-K+-ATPase in the brain of rat ofmusicoelectroacupuncture group was lower than that of madopargroup, no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusions (1) The activity of substantia nigra includingNa+-K+-ATPase in the brain of Parkinson’s disease in rats wasincreased by musicoelectroacupuncture treatment and madopartreatment.(2) The musicoelectroacupuncture treatment and madopartreatment could maintain neuronal cell of calcium homeostasis ofPD models in the substantia nigra neurons in rat.(3)Musicoelectroacupuncture and madopar both had therapeutic effecton Parkinson’s disease model rats. And the therapeutic effect ofmadopar group was superior to the therapeutic effect ofmusicoelectroacupuncture group. |
