Clinical Efficacy Observation On Treatment Of Cystoid Macular Edema By Traditional Chinese Medicine

Objective: From the character of cystoid macular edema,observe theclinical efficacy of Traditional Chinese medicine to treat the cystoid macularedema.Through the clinical cases,we hope we can provide the basis forTraditional Chinese medicine used in clinical to curing CME.Methods: The clinical data of60Patients (68eyes) with CME who hadfollowed up for8weeks after therapy of Chinese medicine for CME wereanalyzed.Observe and analyze the changes of the best corrected visualacuity(BCVA),Fundus Fluorescein Angiography(FFA),Optic coherenttomography(OCT) and Amsler list of pre-treatment and post-treatment.Result: With Traditional Chinese Medicine, the total effective rate was86.2%.The result showed a great difference concerning the vision ofpre-treatment and post-treatment (P<0.05).The CME changes were amelioratedin some degree (P<0.05),Compared with pre-treatment,the range and scope ofCME changed(P<0.05).Conclusion: Traditional Chinese medicine shows effective treatment incuring CME. It can increase the vision, reduce leakage in macular.
