BackgroundIn recent years, as population aging is accelerating in China, with highly increasein the number of clinical epidemiological studies, elderly and the disabled becomepressure ulcers in at-risk populations. Most of these patients with anemia, malnutritionand other symptoms, are often unable to withstand surgery, only be treated throughthe dressing changes, which make condition improved and delayed.Covering biological dressing at the wound is the most common nonsurgicaltreatment of pressure sores treatment. During the process of wound healing, wounddressing can be a temporary barrier to avoid wound infections and provide a goodenvironment for made wound healing. Now often used clinical dressing is ordinarycotton, gauze, cotton, mesh cotton gauze, Vaseline gauze, etc.But as time goes on, traditional dressings have been increasingly exposing itsnicety and limitations. Such as,no effect on the wound healing, no moisturizingeffect, granulation tissue adhesions caused by easily grown into a gauze mesh, andthe exogenous infection caused by the dressing penetration. So it’s very urgent to be a"multi-use" and new dressings.Nano-Silver activated carbon composite dressing is based on modified activatedcarbon fiber with Nano Silver for matrix is formed after a new generation of high-techmedical used compound dressing. As its name suggests, it is silver and activatedcarbon characteristics of both types of dressings. On one hand, it can play effectivelyabsorbs wound exudate, which kill bacteria, preventing the invasion of microbes invitro, and reduce the chance of infection. On the, it and can appropriate release out byit itself cleanup filter of moisturizing element, thereby greatly reduced has wound isneeds of protein, and hormone, and enzyme, and vitamin, and electrolytic mass,material of loss, inhibition has development into pus HIV disease of possibilities,obviously promotion has granulation tissue of growth, improved has integratedtreatment of effect, shortened has illness of treatment period, reduced has patients ofpain and mortality. ObjectivesThis study is to design observing AgACF dressings in vitro antibacterial effect andclearing its antibacterial ability.Through the establishment of animal model of pressure ulcers in application ofNano silver activated carbon fiber dressings random control experiments, understandits effect on the action mechanism and application of pressure ulcers, providereference for clinical trials.Method1. Results1.Ag/ACF on escherichia coli, staphylococcus aureus, pseudomonas aeruginosa,the bacteriostatic ring than nano silver dressing, activated charcoal dressings,chlorhexidine vaseline dressing dressings the three group was obviously (p <0.05).The bacteriostatic effect of Ag/ACF is better than the nano silver dressing andchlorhexidine vaseline dressing, and carbon fiber dressings antibacterial effect is notobvious.2.The healing time ratio: laboratory animal wound at the back of each group IIafter4weeks healing period. Experimental group rats healing time is fast than theother three groups. Statistically significant differences P<0.01.3.The rate of wound healing: each group of experimental animals in pressureulcer medication after the3rd day,7-day healing rates compared to P>0.05, thedifference was not statistically significant. While the14th day,21st day, P*<0.05,statistically significant, thus proving that Nano-Silver activated carbon compositedressing on wound healing pressure sore rates significantly higher than the other fourgroups. In other words, compared to a single dressing, or other composite dressings,its healing role better.4.According to each group of Histopathology evaluation criteria, using the meanand standard deviation (X±SD said that between groups in pressure ulcers after3days,7days, no significant difference was found in all14days. To the third week, thegroup A and group B, C, D, E, P***<0.05has statistical significance. Prove that when14~21days after pressure sores, accelerating the healing rate of experimental groupA, increased efficiency, promote healing ability stronger than the other four groups.From the point of view of histology shows that the dressing can promote the healingperiod of inflammation reaction, accelerate wound healing.5.VEGF optical density: VEGF will catch the peak from7to14days after sorespressure,during the healing period, tissue repair is earlier than other groups,whichproves the healing ability of the dressing again.CONCLUSIONSThe experiment proved that Nano-Silver activated carbon composite dressingscan effectively contribute to the healing of pressure ulcers wounds, and have shownsignificant advantages in speeding up the proliferation of epithelial cells, in promotingwound healing compared with other dressings, which provide a realistic basis for itsfuture application in the clinic.
