| Objctive:Systematic observation on the effect of Jiannaoruanmai Particlesin treating Carotid Atherosclerotic Plaque with TCM that belong to "nape vessel impediment-kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome".And provide scientific proof for its TCM therapeutics in stabiling plaque and anti-atherosclerosclerosis.Methods:Sixty cases of carotid atherosclerotic plaque with kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome were assigned into two groups randomly:the treatment group (30cases)with "Jiannaoruanmai Particles"+Pravastatin Sodium Tablets and the control group (30cases) with placebos and Pravastatin Sodium Tablets, which were named A. and B separately. The course of treatment was12weeks. Detected changes of IMT, plaque integral hemodynamics (SPV, EDV, RI), plaque pathologic classification of Carotid Artery with Carotid Color Ultrasonography and observed high-sensitivity c-reactive protein (hs-CRP), blood lipid before and after treatment. At the same time, counted Symptom score of TCM during the4.8.12weeks before and after treatment.Result:After twelve weeks, They both decreased IMT, the crouse of the Carotid Plaque and hemodynamics(SPV, EDV), degraded high-sensitivity c-reactive protein (hs-CRP)ã€blood lipid. Cpmpared with the control group, the treatment group could improve symtoms of CAS patients better. And group A was better than group B in decreased hs-CRP, IMT, Crouse integrals and clinical symptoms.Conclusion:Jiannaoruanmai Particles has resistance to atherosclerosis and is conducive to plaque stability, which better than Pravastatin Sodium Tablets alonely. It can also reduce the dosage of statins and the side effects of Statins. Generally speaking, Jiannaoruanmai Particles is worthy of clinical promotion. |
