Purpose: To observe the low frequency electric stimulation to improve obese patientswith type2diabetes mellitus (accumulation of damp heat in spleen syndrome), thelow-frequency pulse therapy was evaluated in the treatment of obese patients with type2diabetes.Method: Selected50patients were randomly divided into the low frequency electricstimulation plus metformin group (experimental group), metformin group (control group),experimental group25, control group25. At the same time, based on the diet therapy, exercisetherapy, while the control group was treated Metformin Hydrochloride Tablets0.85g,1timesa day,60day observation. The experimental group was the control group on the basis oflow-frequency pulse therapy, acupoint selection (pancreas Yu, Zusanli, Zhongwan, Fenglong,Yongquan acupoint), each5min,6automatic switching, a total of timed35min.1times a day,the treatment lasted for60days. To observe the fasting state, height, weight, waistcircumference. Body mass index was calculated according to the formula. Fasting bloodglucose (FPG),2hour postprandial blood glucose (2H PG), fasting serum insulin (FINS),glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c), triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), low densitylipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), insulinresistance index (HOMA-IR). Measurement of free fatty acid (FFA), tumor necrosis factoralpha (TNF-α). Observation of TCM symptoms integral change.Result:①After the treatment of two patients with fasting blood glucose,2hourpostprandial blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, total cholesterol, triglyceride, lowdensity lipoprotein cholesterol, fasting serum insulin, insulin resistance index, body massindex, waist circumference, FFA and TNF-α were decreased, there was significant differencecompared with that before treatment (P<0.01, P<0.05); HDL-C elevated levels, there aresignificant differences before and after treatment (P<0.01). The experimental group than inthe control group, postprandial blood glucose in glycosylated hemoglobin, total cholesterol,triglyceride, fasting serum insulin, insulin resistance index, waist circumference, FFA andTNF-α, there are differences between the two groups of curative effect (P <0.01, P <0.05).②The patients in experimental group were significantly improved after treatment (P<0.05, P<0.01); the experiment group and the control group in improving symptoms compared withsignificant difference (P<0.01).③The effective rate of treatment group was88%, controlgroup76%.Conclusion: Low frequency electric stimulation therapy in the treatment of obese type2diabetes clinical curative effect, have a significant role in lowering blood glucose, bloodlipid, inflammation factors, and can improve insulin resistance and inflammation. Lowfrequency pulse therapy can improve the clinical symptoms in patients with diabetes mellitus.Low frequency electric stimulation is safe, no side effect.
