Objective: To Explore the association between p22phox subunit C242T genepolymorphism and diabetic nephropathy susceptibility by Meta-analysis.To provide thebasis for evidence-based prevention and treatment of diabetic nephropathy, and to providethe foundation for modern biological medicine use physical theory of Chinese medicinetreatment of diabetic nephropathy. Methods: Pubmed,Embase, CNKI, Sinomed (to approximately February,2014) weresearched with the keywords of p22phox,C242T,diabetic nephropathy. Choose suitablemodels for Meta analysis, odds ratio and95%confidence interval were used as evaluationstandard.Q inspection and I2statistics for heterogeneity. Subgroup analysis was adopted toexplore the sources of heterogeneity and sensitivity analysis to evaluate the stability of theresults. Results: A total of7case-control studies enrolled, including1030patients and935controls. There was significant heterogeneity. After subgroup analysis with country, raceand diagnostic criteria respectively, heterogeneity still existed. However, after exclusion ofthe study in type1diabetes,further sensitivity analysis found that after excluding theliterature which two T allele frequency detection rate, the results show that with highhomogeneity (P=0.26, I2=25%), and the analysis results with statistically significant (95%CI=1.22-1.99,P=0.0004).Conclusion: p22phox exon4of242c/T locus T genotype may be related to theoccurrence of diabetic nephropathy in type2diabetes. While alone in the study of type2diabetes, T gene is a susceptibility gene in diabetic nephropathy in our study. |
