Studies On Hypolipidemic Effect Of Propolis Ganoderma

This study took hyperlipoidemia mice serum TC, TG, LDL-C and HDL-C levels and body weight, liver and body weight ratio as the evaluation index, compared the hypolipidemic effect of ethanol extract of propolis,water extract of ganoderma and their complex, determined the best proportion and dose in hypolipidemic of propolis ganoderma. The main results as follows:1. The screening test of propolis ganoderma:In this experiment, the effect of ethanol extract of propolis, water extract of ganoderma and their complex on serum Iipid were studied using the mice model. These mice were divided into19groups:the normal control group, the solvent control group, the hyperlipoidemia control group, the drug control group (180mg/kg), the ethanol extract of propolis low, medium and high dose group (100,200,600mg/kg), the water extract of ganoderma low, medium and high dose group (150,300,900mg/kg), the complex100+150mg/kg dose group, the complex100+300mg/kg dose group, the complex100+900mg/kg dose group, the complex200+150mg/kg dose group, the complex200+300mg/kg dose group, the complex200+900mg/kg dose group, the complex600+150mg/kg dose group, the complex600+300mg/kg dose group, the complex600+900mg/kg dose group. Given intragastric administration for4weeks, the serum TC, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C, body weight and liver weight of all mice were detected and compared. Results:It came to an initially conclusion that the propolis ganoderma200+900mg/kg,600+150mg/kg,600+300mg/kg,600+900mg/kg dose group were better group of hypolipidemic.2. The verification test of formula of propolis ganoderma:In this experiment, the function of propolis ganoderma on reducing blood lipids were verified using the mice model. These mice divided into8groups:the normal control group, the solvent control group, the hyperlipoidemia control group, the drug control group (180mg/kg), the complex200+900mg/kg dose group, the complex600+150mg/kg dose group, the complex600+300mg/kg dose group, the complex600+900mg/kg dose group. Given intragastric administration for4weeks, the serum TC, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C, body weight and liver weight of all mice were detected and the results were compared with maiden trial. Results:Propolis ganoderma600+150mg/kg dose group (propolis: Ganoderma=4:1) was determined to be the best formula.3. The research of reducing serum lipids dose of propolis ganoderma:In this experiment, the best dose of propolis ganoderma on reducing serum lipid were studied using the mice model. The mice were divided into9groups:the normal control group, the solvent control group, the hyperlipoidemia control group, the drug control group (180mg/kg), the complex250mg/kg dose group, the complex375mg/kg dose group, the complex750mg/kg dose group, the complex1500mg/kg dose group, the complex2250mg/kg dose group. Given intragastric administration for4weeks, the serum TC, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C, body weight and liver weight of all mice were detected and compared. Results:The hypolipidemic effect was the best when the dose of the the propolis ganoderma was375mg/kg.4. The acute toxicity experiment of propolis ganoderma:The oral acute toxicity of propolis ganoderma were studied using the mice model. The mice were divided into6groups:the normal control group, the solvent control group, the complex1500mg/kg dose group, the complex3000mg/kg dose group, the complex4500mg/kg dose group, the complex6000mg/kg dose group. Each group had5male mice and5female mice. Subsequently we used disposable gavage to study the acute toxicity of propolis ganoderma in mice. Results:The acute toxicity LD50of propolis ganoderma was more than6000mg/kg (bw), which actually belonged to non-toxic class, so propolis ganoderma is safe.
