Clinical Study Of Wenyang Tongluo Decoction In Treatment Of Stable Angina Pectoris

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Wenyang Tongluo Decoction on stableangina pectoris and to analyze the mechanism of action.Methods: All80patients were divided into treatment group (n=40) and control group(n=40) randomly. Both group was given base treatment by aspirin，while the treatmentgroup was treated with Wenyang Tongluo Decoction and the control group TongxinluoCapsule for4weeks.Result: Total effective rates of the treatment group is90%，while the control group is77.5%. Respectively，the effective rate of the TCM symptoms is92.5%、80%，and theECG effective rate is80%、72.5%. The myocardial oxygen consumption decreasedsignificantly（P＜0.01）.The SAQ scale values increased in both group which show greaterdifferences in the treatment group on PL、AS、AF and TS（P＜0.05）.Conclusion: Wenyang Tongluo Decoction is an effective and safe treatment for stableangina pectoris which can improve the patients’ life quality due to the value change of theSAQ scale. The mechanism of action is to expand the coronary artery, to improve themyocardial, to reduce myocardial oxygen consumption，and meanwhile to protect themusculus cardiacus.
