Effect Of Scalp Electroacupuncture Point-through-point For Stroke Patients With Depression On Eeg Changes Before And After Treatment

Objective：Objective： This project based on good effect of themethods of electro-acupuncture scalp point through pointacupuncture for patients with post-stroke depression tofurther confirmed that reliable therapeutic effect of thismethod and research effect of this way for EEG of patientswho experienced treatments than before and studying itsmechanism.Methods： We selected60cases of clinically diagnosedpatients with post-stroke depression to randomly dividedinto the treatment group of30cases by random method with30cases in the control group. The treatment group uses themethods of electro-acupuncture scalp point through pointacupuncture and general acupuncture treatment.The controlgroup with normal acupuncture treatment. The patients aremeasured by EEG before and after treatment and at the endof each patient before treatment and weekly after treatmentrespectively according to Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD) and Zung Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) for adetermination of score to determine the severity of thedisease,and detailed records. After3monthstreatment,observe the overall effect of patients in eachgroup.Result： After the observation of treatment, thetreatment group and the control group could improve theabnormal EEG in the patients with PSD. The therapy of twogroups both could reduce the abnormal brain waves of EEG inpatients of PSD.Following the decrease in abnormal brainwaves and tending to be normal EEG, clinical symptoms of the patients with PSD is better to achieve the purpose oftherapy. From the comparison of therapeutic effect ofacupuncture treatment to observe,20patients were cured,markedly effective or effective patients were6and invalidpatients were4after treatment.Total effective rate was86.67%(P<0.05).15patients were cured in ordinaryacupuncture group, markedly effective or effectivepatients were8and7patients were markedly effective oreffective. The total effective rate was76.67%(p<0.05).To observe the comparison of EEG after treatment, in thetreatment group the abnormal rate of EEG was13.33%(p<0.05)while the abnormal rate of EEG was23.33%(p<0.05) in thenormal acupuncture. the treatment group and control groupafter treatment compared with significant difference(p<0.01). The results could be seen, through decrease inthe abnormal rate of EEG and the effect of treatment.treatment group was obviously better than that of thecontrol group.Conclusion:1Effect of Head point through point electro-acupuncturewith ordinary acupuncture in treatment of post-strokedepression is confirmed and marked.2EEG of two groups were both improved in patients withdepression after stroke, Head point through pointelectro-acupuncture with ordinary acupuncture is betterthan the ordinary acupuncture group.3Head point through point electro-acupuncture withordinary acupuncture in the treatment of PSD has thefunction of declining patients`abnormal brain waves.
