Clinical Study On Professor Ding Shuwen’s GouTeng Decoction Changes Treatment Of Hypertension Complicated With Insulin Resistance

Recentepidemiological research indicates domestic incidence of hypertension increased year byyear, According to the statistics in2002the residents of18years and above prevalence ofhypertension was18.8%, a conservative estimate of the number of patients is over160million nationwide. Hypertension poses a serious threat to human health, and have morecomplications. Insulin resistance is an important feature of hypertension, is an independentrisk factor for cardiovascular disease. Antihypertensive therapy buck while improvinginsulin resistance has become a hot current research. Find Chinese medicine treatment ofHypertension complicated with insulin resistance treatment ideas and methods to improvethe quality of life of patients and prevent the occurrence of cardiovascular disease hasimportant significance.Objective: Treating hypertension complicated with insulin resistance by usingGouTeng decoction changes to evaluate the clinical efficacy of GouTeng Decoction.Methods: Patients of hypertension complicated with insulin resistance were dividedinto test group,control group. The test group were treated with GouTeng decoction changesand captopril, the control group were treated with captopril only,3months later, we willobserve the changes of clinical symptom,,blood pressure, TCM symptoms, FPG, HOMA-IR,2hPG, serum insulin,blood lipids, before and after treatment in each group and differe-nce in efficacy between the groups. Epidemiological investigations showed that insulin- resistance in patients with hypertension incidence of58.0%.Results: A total of60patients, of which the test group of30patients in the controlgroup of30patients.The effective rate of test group on blood pressure improved markedlywas76.67%, total effective rate was93.33%, there was a significant difference (P <0.05)compared with the control group. Fasting glucose, HOMA-IR compared with controlgroup was statistically significant (P <0.05), also superior to the control group. In terms ofimproving blood lipids, TG, LDL-C had significantly better than the control group (P<0.05). The effective rate of test group on TCM symptoms markedly was50.00%,totalefficiency rate was90.00%. Clinical safety, and find no adverse reactions.Conclusion: Clinical efficacy showed that GouTeng decoction changes was curativeon the treatment of hypertension complicated with insulin resistance.
