| Objective:To investigate the role and clinical significance of immunity characteristicphenotype of myeloma cell and the dynamic changes of serum interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-27(IL-27) levels in diagnosis and the treatment of multiple myeloma inpatients with multiple myeloma. Methods: Immunophenotype of myeloma cell of95multiple myeloma patients of uygurand the Han nationality were analysed by flow cytometry method, and expression levels ofserum interleukin-6(IL-6), interleukin-27(IL-27) between95multiple myeloma patientsof uygur and the Han nationality and normal control were analysed by ELISA method. Results: The difference of immunophenotype of CD19and CD20between uygur and theHan nationality had statistical significance(P<0.05); Immunophenotype of CD19andCD20between uygur and the Han nationality had relativity with DS by stages. The levelsof serum interleukin-6(IL-6) of multiple myeloma patients were significantly higher thannormal control(P<0.01); The levels of serum interleukin-6(IL-6) of multiple myelomapatients of uygur were significantly higher than the Han nationality(P<0.05); The levelsof serum interleukin-6(IL-6) of95multiple myeloma patients had trended to increasewith increasing of clinical staging; The difference of the levels of serum interleukin-6(IL-6)of multiple myeloma patients in the same stage between uygur and the Han nationality hadno statistical significance(P>0.05); The levels of serum interleukin-6(IL-6)of advancedstage(â…¡andâ…¢) of multiple myeloma patients were significantly higher than stablestage(â… )(P<0.05). The levels of serum interleukin-27(IL-27) of multiple myelomapatients were significantly lower than normal control(P<0.01); The levels of seruminterleukin-27(IL-27) of multiple myeloma patients of uygur were significantly lower thanthe Han nationality(P<0.05); The levels of serum interleukin-27(IL-27) of95multiple myeloma patients had trended to lower with increasing of clinical staging; The differenceof the levels of serum interleukin-27(IL-27) of multiple myeloma patients in the samestage between uygur and the Han nationality had no statistical significanc(eP>0.05); Thelevels of serum interleukin-27(IL-27)of advanced stage(â…¡andâ…¢) of multiple myelomapatients were significantly lower than stable stage(â… )(P<0.05). The levels of seruminterleukin-6(IL-6) of multiple myeloma patients had significantly relativity with seruminterleukin-27(IL-27)(r=-0.581,P<0.01). The levels of serum interleukin-6(IL-6) weresignificantly decreased when the multiple myeloma patients had effectivechemotherapy(remission or partial remission), while The levels of seruminterleukin-27(IL-27) were significantly increased. The levels of serum interleukin-6(IL-6)were significantly increased when the multiple myeloma patients had invalidchemotherapy or the disease progressing while the levels of serum interleukin-27(IL-27)were significantly decreased. Conclusion: CD19and CD20has certain correlation with MM clinical stage, IL-6and IL-27levels in MM patients with different clinical stage changes significantly, and relatedto the effect of chemotherapy, prompt IL-6, IL-27levels of patient’s is important tocondition change and curative effect evaluation. |
