Objective:(1) To investigate the effects of DHA, walnut oil, safflower oil, perillaoil and linoleic acid on the spatial learning and memory ability in rats; And studies the relationship between DHA, walnut oil, safflower oil, perilla oil, linoleic acid and hippocampal expression of acid-sensitive ion channels in rats. Methods: Use DHA oil(0.902ml/kg), walnut oil(2.445ml/kg), safflower oil(1.792ml/kg), perilla oil(2.445ml/kg), linoleicacid(1.555ml/kg) fed neonatal male SD rats, after8weeks, the spatial learning and memory ability were detected by Morris water maze test, and detected ASIC1a, ASIC1b,ASIC2a, ASIC2b, ASIC3and ASIC4mRNA expression in the hippocampus of rats byRT-PCR.Results:(1) Compared with the negative control group, the escape latency detected ofDHA, walnut oil, safflower oil, perilla oil and linoleic was significantly shorter (P <0.05);across platforms and target quadrant times of DHA, walnut oil, safflower oil, perilla oil, and linoleicacid was significantly increased (P <0.05).(2) Compared with the negative control group, DHA, walnut oil, safflower oil, perilla oil,and linoleic acid can significantly improve ASIC4mRNAexpression level (P <0.05) on the rat brain hippocampal tissue, and can significantly reduced the expression of ASIC1a、ASIC1b mRNA expression level (P <0.05). Perilla oil can significantly reduced the expression of ASIC1b mRNA expression level (P <0.01) in rats brain hippocampus. DHA can significantly improve the ASIC3mRNA expression level (P <0.05) in rat brainhippocampal tissue. Perilla oil can significantly improve ASIC2a and ASIC2b mRNA expressionlevel (P <0.05) in the rat brain hippocampus. Walnut oil can significantly increase the ASIC2bmRNA expression level (P <0.01) in rat brain hippocampal tissue.Linoleic acid can significantly improve the ASIC2b mRNA expression level (P <0.05) in rat brain hippocampal tissue, andsignificantly improve the ASIC2a mRNA expression level (P <0.01) in rat brain hippocampus tissue.To sum up:(1) During development period of weaned pups,add DHA, walnut oil, safflower oil, perilla oil and linoleic acid can promote the ability of spatial learning and memory.(2) Different oils to improve the process of learning and memory in rats is related to ASICs mRNA expression levels.Different oils can impact of different ASIC subunits.
