Objectives:To evaluate the benefits and harms Traditional Chinese Medici ne combining with west medicine in patients with Chronic Kidney Disease co mplicated with Renal Anemia (RA) by review systematically, and provide scien tific basis for Integrated Treatment off renal anemia.Methods:EMBASE、Cochrane Controlled Trials Register(CCTR)、MEDLIN E and China National Knowledge Infrastructure、Embase and Chinese Biologica1Medicine database (CBM)、WanFang database、WeiPu data (VIP) were wide ly referred. More than10Chinese core journals related to TCM during2012were also searched by hand.Asessing trial qualities and extracted data from the se Randomized Controlled Trails by the RevMan5.2.Results:18studies, a total of1153patients, were identified. In the literatu re are generally lower in methods and quality.Meta-analysis shows:on the sa me basic treatment, The Integrated Treatment group (traditional Chinese medici ne compound+r-HuEPO) compared with western medicine group (EPO), do better in the improvement of the clinical curative effect、symptom integral、t he hemoglobin、haematocrit、red blood cell count、Glomerular filtration rate、s erum ferritin, forwarded the rise of saturation, high density lipoprotein cholester ol, in promoting the red consumption is reduced, serum creatinine, blood urea nitrogen, total cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein cholesterol reduct ion were statistically significant; But the improvement of reticulocyte has no di fference.Conclusions:By the result of this study, combine traditional Chinese wit h western medicine group compared with r-HuEPO group can be more benefits and less some harms。However, the evidence is not strong enough to explain the results because of the small sample size and low methodological quality.
