Objective:To study the clinical effect of dabigatran etexilate in patients withatrial fibrillation underwent radiofrequency catheter ablation throughepidemiologic study. Methods:From Jan2012to Jan2015, a total of107patients with atrialfibrillation underwent radiofrequency catheter ablation were recruited. We collected the basic informations like age, gender, liver function, kidney function and so on. All the patients were through inclusion criteriaand exclusion standard, then being treated by dabigatran etexilate orwarfarin totally in perioperative period. After1year follow-up, the end ofthe study was thrombembolia issue or bleeding complication. To comparethe clinical efficacy and bleeding risk between both groups.Results:1. The incidence of thromboembolic events in the dabigatran group was3.2%, and that was3.9%in the control group. There were not statistically significant differences between the two groups(P>0.05). TheINR of the patient did not reach the standard score who occurred thecerebral arterial thrombosis in the warfarin group.2. The incidence of bleeding complications in the dabigatran group was6.5%, and that was9.2%in the control group. There were not anydiscrepancy between the two groups(P>0.05).The severe bleedingcomplications did not occur in both groups.Conclusion:1. Radiofrequency ablation with dabigatran etexilate anticoagulation foratrial fibrillation had curative effect, which was noninferior to warfarinanticoagulation therapy.2. Compared to anticoagulation by warfarin, radiofrequency ablationwith dabigatran etexilate had the same risk of bleeding and security, butthe INR detection could be out if the dabigatran etexilate was used.
