Objective:We detected the BPA concentration of urine samples of patients who accepted AID treatment, to explore the correlation between BPA exposure and birth outcomes of women.Method:We conducted a hospital-based study in April2014to January2015, the treatment of women undergoing artificial insemination in Women’s Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine. There is a total of89cases of patients who accepted AID treatment. Their urine samples were detected.Result:There were89cases of women receiving AID treatment,20of them resulted in clinical pregnancy, and the other69cases not, the pregnancy rate was22.5%. There is significant difference (P=0.0189) in urinary BPA concentration between clinical pregnancy women and non-pregnant women, in addition, their age (P=0.0009) and treatment cycles (P=0.0022) also have significant differences. Conclusion:BPA levels in urine and acceptance of artificial insemination pregnancy failure rate for women was positively correlated, suggesting that BPA exposure can affect reproductive capacity of women. |
