Clinical Study On The Intervention Effect On Yang-deficiency Constitution With Du-moxibustion

Objective: To analyze the constitution scores of the yang-deficiency patients after one course of treatment with Du-moxibustion. And to provide objective basis for clinical treatment furtherly.Method: To divide 60 patients with yang-deficiency constitution into two groups Du-moxibustion group(30 cases) and blank control group(30 cases). To record the constitution scores after one course of treatment with Du-moxibustion(once every two weeks, four times as one course).Result: 1. Compared two groups by themselves, there was a significant difference in the transformation scores between before and after Du-moxibustion(P<0.01), while the blank control group showed no significant difference(P>0.05); 2. Compared the total transformation scores with each other, the scores before the intervention showed no significant difference(P>0.05), possessing comparable scales. However, there were significant differences in the scores after the intervention(P<0.01); 3. The total effective rate of the Du-moxibustion group was 93.33%, while the blank one was 16.67%.Conclusion: Du-moxibustion can interfere people’s yang-deficiency constitution effectively. The study also has a great importance on the prevention of disease.
