With the improvement of people’s living standard and the ageing of the population, osteoporosis and tooth grown has gained the wide attention. Bone mineral density measurement as the most sensitive and effective method of the assessment of osteoporosis and grow teeth has many measuring techniques. In actual application, no body model measuring bone mineral density method can not eliminate the influence of muscle and fat, and brings the error to measurement results, and the repeatability of the result is bad.At present, oral CT in bone mineral density examination plays an increasingly important role. Based on oral quantitative computed tomography (CT), this thesis is puts forward a method of in vitro selection, and they are functioning model measuring bone density method and body model method. Body model is divided into 2categories:liquid body model and solid membrane. Because of the complex solid body membrane production technology and expensive price, this paper makes liquid body model with simple process and low cost. In order to validate the feasibility of the liquid body model, the author does the following work:(1) Scan the liquid body module to verify its uniformity. Select ten layers of images of the scanning picture. From comparison of ten layers’ result it shows that the liquid body model uniformity is very good.(2) Verify its linearity by scanning the liquid body model and the solid film. Select ten layers of images of the scanning picture. From comparison of ten layers’result it shows that fitting degree is higher than solid and reaches 0.9997.(3) Scan the solid and liquid body model and quality control body model. Select ten layers of images of the scanning picture. From comparison of ten layers’ result it shows that the difference is between 3~5, and the biggest relative change is 1.95%.(4) Test liquid body model measurement for many times. Select ten layers of images of the scanning picture. From comparison of ten layers’result it shows that the result of the repeatability and stability performance of membrane can keep within half a year.(5) Scan the liquid body model and bone sample at the same time. Compared with the ashing and bone sample value the error is within 2%~3%. And it does not affect the measurement resultIn order to verify the accuracy of the dental CT measurement of bone density, use the large spiral CT and ashing value of neusoft. Dental CT measurement of the accuracy of the bone mineral density is higher than the large spiral CT. To well apply this method to clinical examination, according to the principle of the design process and implementation, mineral density measurement software without body bone is developed on a single energy computed tomography (CT).
