Clinical Research Of Seeds ¹²⁵Ⅰ Implantation In The Treatment Of The Local Recurrence And Metastasis Of Cervical Cancer

Objective:To explore clinical curative effect and value of¹²⁵Ⅰ radioactive seeds implantation technique in the treatment of cervical cancer local recurrence and metastatic lesions.Method: To collect 50 cases of patients aged between 28 and 65, from January 2010 to October 2014, who are suffering from local recurrence or metastasis after the standard surgery or radiation and chemotherapy from the department of gynecological oncology of center of Qingdao medical group. The patients were once diagnosed with cervical squamous carcinoma or adenocarcinoma. A total of 50 cases randomly divided into two groups, the observation group is a¹²⁵Ⅰ seeds implantation therapy under CT guidance, the control group is a conventional external radiotherapy or cavity after radiation therapy. According to the control condition of patients, the relief condition of patients’ self-conscious symptom, the adverse reactions and survival period of the patients after treatment with the indicators and comparison, to evaluate the merits and demerits with the two methods of treatment, provide reference for clinical treatment. Results:（1） The recent efficiency: Comparing the two groups there was no statistically significant difference（P > 0.05）, there was no differences between them.（2） The effectiveness of the pain relief: Comparing two groups there was no statistically significant difference（P = 1）, and it suggests that two kinds of treatment methods of pain relief effectiveness indifference.（3） The incidence of radioactive dermatitis: Comparing the two groups, there was statistically significant difference（P < 0.05）, and it suggests that¹²⁵Ⅰ radioactive dermatitis particles implantation treatment group was obviously lower than conventional radiotherapy group.（4） The incidence of bone marrow suppression: two groups were statistically significant difference（P < 0.05）, it suggests that¹²⁵Ⅰ particles implanted bone marrow inhibition treatment group was obviously lower than conventional radiotherapy group.（5） The incidence of gastrointestinal reaction: the two groups was statistically significant difference（P < 0.05）, suggesting that the digestive tract reaction¹²⁵Ⅰ particles implantation treatment group was obviously lower than conventional radiotherapy group. Conclusion:¹²⁵Ⅰ seeds implantation therapy is a safe and effective treatment method in comparison with the conventional radiotherapy, after the comprehensive treatment such as surgery and radiation and chemotherapy patients with local recurrence or metastasis of cervical cancer.¹²⁵Ⅰ seeds implantation therapy in clinical received satisfactory therapeutic effects, no obvious complications and adverse reactions.¹²⁵Ⅰ seeds implantation therapy guided by CT, because of its minimal invasiveness and safety, without the pain of surgery, is easily accepted by patients.125 I seeds implantation therapy has broad clinical application prospect.
