Objective: To observe the curative effect of ABZ-CS-MPs on mice infected with Alveolar echinococcosis.Methods : Mice were infected by abdominal inoculation of Alveolar echinococcosis and divided into treatment groups given by ABZ-CS-MPs, L-ABZ with a dosage of 75 mg/(kg·d), 3 times a week, control groups and model control groups were not treated. 6, 9and 14 weeks after gastric administration, the mice(16 died during the course) were sacrificed for further observation. The livers of various mice were taken for gross observation, and the cyst wet weights were measured, the inhibition rates were calculated, the pathological changes of the Alveolar hydatid tissues were observed by microscopy, ELISA Inhibition Assay was used to detect serum IL-2, IL-10 level.Results: The inhibition rates of the ABZ-CS-MPs were 87.83% 90.21% and 82.01%, Observations of pathological changes revealed the damaging effects of the ABZ-CS-MPs on the Alveolar hydatid tissues were markedly superior than the L-ABZ group. The serum IL-2 levels of the model control group [ 12,15 and 20 weeks after the mice infected with AE were respectively(18.529±1.496),(19.040±1.439),(13.439±1.231)pg/ml] was significantly lower than the control group [after feeding for 12, 15 and 20 weeks, the level of serum IL-2 of the mice were respectively(30.057±3.425),(31.507±3.124)(20.8133±3.859)pg/ml ](P<0.05). The serum IL-10 levels of model control group [12, 15 and 20 weeks after the mice infected with AE were respectively(14.841±3.761),(16.728±1.739),(33.197±21.046)pg/ml] were significantly higher than the control group[after feeding for 12,15 and 20 weeks, the level of serum IL-10 of the mice were respectively(8.006±4.531),(7.606±2.863),(16.416±6.911)pg/ml ](P<0.05). The serum IL-2 levels of the treatment groups were increased in comparison to the model control group(P<0.05), and the serum IL-10 levels were decreased in comparison with the model control group(P<0.05). The serum IL-2 levels of the ABZ-CS-MPs group[6 and 9 weeks after gastric administration into the mice were respectively(25.871±4.318),(27.154±3.205)pg/ml ] were increased in comparison to the L-ABZ group[6 and 9 weeks after gastric administration into the mice were respectively(22.153±3.112),(23.373±4.519)pg/ml ](P<0.05).The serum IL-10 levels Of the ABZ-CS-MPs group [6 and 9 weeks after gastric administration into the mice were respectively(8.057±0.801),(10.519±3.233)pg/ml ] were decreased in comparison with the L-ABZ group[6 and 9 weeks after gastric administration into the mice were respectively(11.324±2.676),(13.342±2.663)pg/ml ](P<0.05). the serum IL-2 levels of the ABZ-CS-MPs group[14 weeks after gastric administration into the mice was(15.041±1.851)pg/ml ],the L-ABZ group[14 weeks after gastric administration into the mice was(15.058±1.095)pg/ml ],the model control group [20 weeks after the mice infected with AE were respectively(13.439±1.231) pg/ml],the control group [after feeding for 20 weeks, the level of serum IL-2 of the mice were(20.813±3.859)pg/ml ],there is no significant difference between treatment group and model control group(P>0.05),there is no significant difference between ABZ-CS-MPs group and ABZ-L group(P>0.05), there is a significant difference between model control group and control group(P<0.05).The serum IL-10 levels of the ABZ-CS-MPs group[14 weeks after gastric administration into the mice was(17.437±12.472)pg/ml ],the L-ABZ group[14 weeks after gastric administration into the mice was(18.916±12.371)pg/ml ],the model control group [20 weeks after the mice infected with AE were respectively(33.197±21.046)pg/ml],the control group [after feeding for 20 weeks, the level of serum IL-10 of the mice were(16.416±6.911)pg/ml ],there is a significant difference between treatment group and model control group(P<0.05),there is no significant difference between ABZ-CS-MPs group and ABZ-L group(P>0.05), there is a significant difference between model control group and control group(P<0.05).Conlusion : ABZ-CS-MPs can obviously maintain the mice’ immunological levels and its early Anti-Alveolar hydatid effects were superior than L-ABZ.
