Objective:To detect the expression of LRIG1 in the normal cervix, Low grade cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions,High grade cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions and cervical squamous carcinoma tissues by Immunohistochemistry,to investigate the possible relationship between LRIG1 expression and clinicalpathological parameters in cervical squamous carcinoma. Methods:Fifty cervical squamous carcinoma tissues were collected from patients who were conducted surgical procedure in the Jiangxi Maternal and Child Health Hospital, from June 2013 to December 2013.,low grade 26 cases 、high grade 34 cases, And get20 cases of normal cervical tissues are set as control groups. All patients has not been received radiotherapy or chemotherapy, the clinical and pathological data integrity. Expression of LRIG1 protein in the normal cervical tissue 、 Low grade cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions,High grade cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions and cervical cancer was detected by immunohistochemisty with LRIG1 polyclonal antibodies, and detecte correlation between LRIG1 expression and clinicopathological parameters of cervical cancer Results:1. The positive expression rates of LRIG1 protein in normal cervical,Low grade cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions,High grade cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions, and cervical squamous carcinoma tissue were 90%( 18/20),76.9%(20/26),58.82%(20/34),46%(23/50),there was significant difference that the positive expression rates of LRIG1 protein in the four samples( 2=14.733,P=0.002);2. From normal cervical,Low grade cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions to High grade cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions, and cervical squamous carcinoma tissue, the positive expression rates of LRIG1 protein showed downward trend(P=0.002);3. In 50 cases of cervical squamous carcinoma tissue, the positive expression rate were 53.85%(14/26)in the age sample of less than or equal to 45 years,37.5%(9/24)in the age sample of older than 45 years, there was no significant difference( 2=1.342,P>0.05);84.6%(11/13)in G1,48%(12/25)in G2,8.83%(1/12)in G3,compared to the three samples, there was significant difference( 2=14.547,P<0.05);70%(14/20)in muscular invasion sample of less than 1/2,30%( 9/30) in muscular invasion sample of greater than 1/2,compared to the two samples, there was significant difference( 2=7.729,P<0.05);8.33%( 2/24) in lymph—vascular space invasion,80.77%(21/26) in no lymph—vascular space invasion, compared to the two samples, there was significant difference( 2=26.362,P<0.05);18.2%(2/11)in positive lymph node metastasis,53.85%(21/39)in negative lymph node metastasis, compared to the two samples, there was significant difference(2=4.393,P<0.05).Conclusion:1. From normal cervical,Low grade cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions to High grade cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions and cervical squamous carcinoma tissue, the positive expression rates of LRIG1 protein showed downward trend.there is up-regulated expression of LRIG1 in normal cervical, but following the progression of cervical lesions, the expression was down-regulated.2. LRIG1 expression showed positive association with the histological grade, muscular invasion,lymph-vascular space invasion and lymph node metastasis,by contrast, there were no correlated with ages.
