Objective: This study was a prospective comparison of differences of Liver function, renal function, fasting blood glucose, blood fat between obstructive sleep apnea patients and the healthy people, Explore the relationship between OSAS and blood biochemical indices differences, and attempt to discuss influence mechanism. Methods: 100 cases of patients with OSAS diagnosis by PSG were Choosed in the first affiliated hospital of nanchang university, 61 cases of healthy subjects with physical examination in the first affiliated hospital of nanchang university medical center were choose as control group, and they were divided into overweight and not overweight group by the critical of body mass index BMI ≧ 25.All the OSAS patients signed the informed consent in the evening of PSG inspection, and provided the brief history of disease and accepted the regular physical examination. In a standardized time professional Nurse guide sleep instrument(Polysomnography, PSG) examination and their peripheral fasting blood were got for testing liver and kidney function, blood suger and fat in the same time in the next morning. the data of liver and kidney function, blood sugar blood fat in all patients with OSAS and healthy subjects with physical examination was built. All data were processed with statistical software SPSS19.0,the means of four groups of liver and kidney function, blood glucose, blood fat were compared by the rank conversion of nonparametric test and had a pairwise comparisons nextly. and the Pearson multiple correlation analysis was used for the correlation between blood and kidney function, blood glucose, blood fat and all general information, multiple stepwise regression analysis was used for correlate indexs to get regression equation.Result: 100 cases of OSAS patients and 61 healthy subjects were included in the study, including overweight OSAS group with 82 cases, non-overweigh OSAS group with 18 cases, overweigh normal group with12 cases, non-overweight normal group with 49 cases.1.the general data comparison between the four groups:Between the four groups of age, sex, smoking history, drinking history examined by the statistical methods had no obvious difference. Neck circumference of overweight normal group and the overweight OSAS group were significantly higher than the normal group and the non-overweight OSAS group. The neck circumference of overweight normal group and overweight OSAS group had no statistical significance difference(P = 0.888), the neck circumference of non-overweight normal group and non-overweight OSAS group had no statistical difference(P = 0.606).2. liver、 renal function、 FBG 、blood lipids comparison among the four groups :there was statistically significant difference between overweight normal group and nonoverweight normal group(P = 0.88) : TC、TG、LDL-C.there was significant difference between non- overweight normal group and nonoverweight OSAS group : ALT、AST、TC、FBG.there was significant difference between non-overweight normal group and overweight OSAS group : ALT、AST、TC、TG、HDL-C、LDL-C、FBG.there was significant difference between overweight normal group and non-overweight OSAS group: HDL-C.there was significant difference between overweight normal group and overweight OSAS group: ALT.there was significant difference between non-overweight OSAS group and overweight OSAS group: ALT、TG.3. the Pearson multiple correlation analysis the correlation between blood and kidney function, blood glucose, blood lipids and all general information in the all objectives:ALT、AST 、FBG 、Blood TG、 Blood TC 、Blood LDL –C all had significant correlation with BMI, waist, neck,AHI, LSO2.Blood HDL-C had no significant correlation with age, gender, smoking, drinking, BMI,waist circumference, AHI, LSO2.4. Relevant indicators were put to stepwise regression and the final regression equation, the regression equations were found: Elevated liver enzymes and liver dysfunction were independently positively relevant to AHI, FBG was negatively relevant independently to LSO2,while the LDL –C were positively relevant independently to waist circumference.while TC were positively relevant to AHI.Conclusion:1. Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome could lead to elevate liver enzymes independent of the confounding factor overweight.2. Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome could lead to elevate fasting glucose independent of the confounding factor overweight.3. Both Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome and confounding overweight caused blood lipid metabolic disorder.
