Clinical Effect Analysis Of Brain Metastases Tumor Gamma Knife Combine With Whole Brain Radiotherapy

Objective:To analysis of Stereotactic radiosurgery with whole brain radiotherapy in brain metastases tumor.Methods:Selecting 62 patients with brain metastases from March 2011 to March 2013 in Shanxi medical university the second affiliated hospital neurosurgery, gamma knife center and the air force general hospital gamma knife treated center(man:32 cases woman:30cases, average age(51.23±3.32)years), The control group received whole brain radiotherapy, were examined by MRI, such as imaging shows that there is still a enhancement, then gamma knife irradiation residual lesions, observation group was given stereotactic radiosurgery, given dose principle with the control group.Results:In this paper, there accepted clinical follow-up examination, and they acquired MRI scan examinations. After the treatment, the observation group and the control group of patients in the total efficiency of treatment, one and two years survival rate of P were 0.479, 0.113,0.488, there was no significant difference between the two. Given the stratified statistics according to the number of intracranial lesions in patients with the observation group and the control group, single lesion and multiple lesions in patients with the total efficiency of treatment, two year survival rate of P were 0.369, 0.733, 0.856, 0.430, there was no significant difference between the two. Two groups of single lesion patients one year survival rate had no significant difference(P = 0.533), and multiple lesions in patients withone year survival rate of observation group was significantly lower than the control group(P = 0.014), the two groups have obvious difference, has certain research significance between the two groups(P < 0.05).Conclusion:Application of stereotactic radiosurgery plus whole brain radiotherapy for the treatment of secondary brain metastasis and single use of gamma knife in treatment of patients with the total effective rate and one year, two years survival had no significant difference, but the gamma knife combined with whole brain radiotherapy in patients with systemic lesions in stable state can prolong the survival period, it is worth popularizing in clinical use.
