Clinical Study Of Obesity Type 2 Pre-diabetes Treating By Strengthening Spleen, Eliminating Dampness And Dredging Collaterals

Objective : Observing the clinical curative effect of the obese type 2 pre-diabetic patients by using“ strengthening spleen, eliminating dampness and dredging collaterals”,and explore its function mechanism. If the research take curative effect exactly, the method can be expected to further clinical application, and can prevent and delay the occurrence of diabetes.Methods:By the random concurrent controlled research method, 60 patients with standard collected from affiliated hospital of Shanxi University of Traditional Chinese medicine, were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group. The treatment group were treated with compound preparation based on the“ strengthening spleen, eliminating dampness and dredging collaterals”( 200 ml boiling water, before breakfast and supper, twice a day), the patients of control group were given “ metformin hydrochloride enteric coated tablets”(Po, 0.25 g / time, 3 times /day). After 3 consecutive months treatment, observe changes in the improvement of clinical symptoms, blood sugar and blood lipid of two groups before and after treatment, then we can evaluate the safety and efficacy of drugs.Results:1. Comparison of the two groups in gender, age and the symptom integral, laboratory indexes before treatment had no difference( P > 0.05). They were comparable.2.After treatment, the symptoms of the treatment group were relieved( P < 0.05), and better than the control group( P < 0.05).3.After treatment, the patients of two groups with fasting blood glucose, 2-hour postprandial blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin, insulin resistance index, total cholesterol and triglyceride were improved compared with before treatment( P < 0.05). The effect of total cholesterol and triglyceride of the treatment group were better than the control group( P < 0.05), but the therapeutic effect of the two groups were no difference in the fasting blood glucose, 2-hour postprandial blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin,and insulin resistance index.( P > 0.05).4.According to the syndrome integral improvement combined with blood glucoseindex and other indicators to comprehensively evaluate the curative effect. After treatment,there were 8 cases markedly effective, 21 cases effective, 1 cases ineffective in the treatment group, the total efficiency is 96.67%; there were 2 cases markedly effective, 8cases effective, 20 cases ineffective in the control group,the total efficiency is 33.33%.Comparing the integrated effect of the two groups, the treatment group is better than the control group( P < 0.05).Conclusion : The method of “ Strengthening spleen, eliminating dampness and dredging collaterals” can exactly and effectively improve the patients’ phlegm-dampness constitution, reduce blood glucose and blood lipid, improve insulin resistance, and it can be further applied in clinic without serious adverse reactions.
