Objective:This paper takes the Chinese traditional medicinal materials Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens as the research object, deliver the pharmacognostic evaluation on Quality evaluation of science of Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens by morphological and chemical quality, also by which to identify, protect this species and provide a basis for the development and uses of it.Methods:This paper takes Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens from Zhejiang province as the main objects collected 10 regions of Zhejiang province and compared with Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens in Sichuan and Shandong province. The plant morphological characteristics and medicinal traits and microscopic characteristics was observed. The determination of total ash in Radix ginger from different sources, total volatile oil and 6-gingerol content,the fingerprint of Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens from Zhejiang province HPLC,on the basis of Study of Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens on pharmacognostic identification and quality evaluation from Zhejiang provinceResults:1. The distribution of Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens resources in Zhejiang was investigated.2. Studies on the morphological quality of Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens from different regions of Zhejiang, compared Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens from Sichuan and Shandong. Difference is small.3. Through evaluation of chemical quality of Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens from different regions of Zhejiang.The total ash content from different regions was in accordance with the 2010 edition of "Chinese Pharmacopoeia", and the difference is not obvious; There are some differences in the content of essential oil and the yield of Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens from different regions.4. Using HPLC method for the determination of 6-gingerol in different regions, there are certain differences, to provide the basis for quality evaluation.5.
