The Effects Of Heart Rate Variability (HRV) By Acupuncturing Left Weizhong(BL40) In Patients With Cerebral Infarction In Acute Period

Objective:By acupuncturing Weizhong point on the left side of the patients after cerebral infarction in acute phase,recording the changes of HRV index(LF、 HF、SDANN、pNN50,etc) at different intervals of the acupuncture,to observe the influence of HRV on the patients,discussing the effects on the autonomic nervous system,providing evidence to the treatment of disturbance of autonomic nervous system after cerebral infarction in acute phase.Method:Selecting 30 patients after cerebral infarction in acute phase randomly,16 male patients and 14 female patients. Acupuncting the Weizhong point on the left side,detecting the HRV index with dynamic electrocardiogram-medilog(?) AR12 and recording the MRV index SDNN、 r-MSSD、pNN50、TP、HF、LF、VLV、logLF/HF、HF%、LF%、VLF%at 5 minutes before acupuncture、after the needle insertion、after the needle stimulation、at the time of the needle removal and 5 minutes after the needle removal time point. Then established the database to do the statistics analysis with SPSS19.0 software, measurement datas are indicated by (X±s).Results:1. The time domain index changes when we acupunctured the left side of the Weizhong point are as follows:at the moment of the needle insertion、 after the needle stimulation at the time of the needle removal and 5 minutes after the needle removal, RMSSD、SDNN、PNN50 does not change significantly(P>0.05).2. The frequency domain index changes when we acupunctured the left side of the Weizhong point are as follows:at the moment of the needle insertion、after the needle stimulation at the time of the needle removal and 5 minutes after the needle removal,TP does not change significantly(P >0.05); at the moment of the needle insertion、after the needle stimulation at the time of the needle removal and 5 minutes after the needle removal,HF decreased significantly (P<0.05); At the time of the needle remova,LF decreased significantly(P<0.01); At the moment of the needle insertion、5 minutes after the needle removal,VLF increaased significantly (P<0.05); At the moment of the needle insertion、after the needle stimulation、at the time of the needle removal and 5 minutes after the needle removal,HF%、LF% decreased significantly (P<0.01) and VLF%、LogLF/HF increaased significantly (P<0.01).Conclusion:1. Acupuncture of Weizhong point on the left side of the patients after cerebral infarction in acute phase has no obvious influence on the total HRV.2. Acupuncture of Weizhong point on the left side of the patients after cerebral infarction in acute phase has inhibiting effect on the vagus and excited effect on sympathetic nerve.
