Objective: To investigate the effect and side effects of different concentrations ofnitric oxide(NO) in the treatment of neonatalpersistentpulmonary hypertension(PPHN). Methods: The 64 cases of PPHN in ours hospital inhaled NO combined with ventilator support treatment were analyzed, select 44 cases of NO inhalation PPHN divided into high concentration group and low concentration group, 20 case of children with PPHN without inhaled NO treatment as a control group, using analysis of variance SNK-q test to compare the three after inhalation by blood oxygen pressure(Pa O2), carbon dioxide partial pressure(Pa CO2), arterial oxygen saturation(Sa O2), pulmonary artery pressure(SPAP); coagulation using an independent samples t-test to compare zymogen time(PT), activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT), platelet count(PLT)inhaled NO24 hours of low dose group and high dose group. Result Oxygen saturation(Sa O2)increased significantly after inhaled NO30 minutes later, variance analysis showed that Pa O2, Pa CO2, Sa O2, SPAP of low case group, high case group and control group was statistically significantdifference(P < 0.05), SNK-q test showed differences of Pa O2, Pa CO2, Sa O2, SPAP among the control group, low concentration group and high concentration group, however, low dose group and high concentration group have no difference; low dose group and high dose group of children with PPHN after inhalation NO24 hours, the PT, APTT, PLT are contrasted, the PT and APTT of high concentration is prolonged(P <0.05), PLT have no statistically significant difference. Conclusion NO inhalation treatment of neonatal pulmonary hypertension, can reduce pulmonary artery pressure, improve blood oxygen levels, improve respiratory failure, the effect of inhalation of low concentration and high concentration is no difference, but the coagulation of high concentrations may be prolonged, no significant effect on platelets.
