Clinical Observation Of Yiqi-yangyin-tongluo Recipe In Treatment Of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathywho Belong To The Syndrome (Qi And Yin Deficiency, Phlegm And Blood Stasis In The Collaterals)

Objective Through randomized controlled clinical trials, to observe the effects of yiqi-yangyin-tongluo recipe on changes of symptom scores of TCM in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy of Qi and Yin deficiency, phlegm and blood stasis in the collaterals syndrome before and after treatment. Monitor the changes of blood glucose, serum lipid, hemorheology. sural nerve current sensory threshold. To further explore the efficacy and mechanism of yiqi-yangyin-tongluo recipe in the treatment of DPN.Methods 58 cases of patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) who pertain to the syndrome Qi and Yin deficiency, phlegm and blood stasis in the collaterals, were randomly divided into the control group and the treatment group. On the basis of western medicine and lifestyle intervention (low salt, low-fat, high-quality low-protein diet. controlling blood pressure). the control group was given Mecobalamin Tablets 0.5mg tid po. while the treatment group was treated with yiqi-yangyin-tongluo recipe according to syndrome differentiation and treatment for 12 weeks. We measured and compared the changes of the symptom scores of TCM. blood glucose, serum lipid, hemorheology, sural nerve current sensory threshold before and after treatment.Results①After treatment, the syndrome scores of TCM in treatment group were significantly lower than that before treatment (P<0.05). The improvement of syndrome scores value in treatment group was better than that in control group (.P<0.05).②After therapy for 12 weeks, the fasting plasma glucose (FPG),2-h plasma glucose (2hPG), glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc) in each group were lower than that before treatment. The difference of above indicators were not statistically significant (P>0.05).③After 12 weeks of treatment, the cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), hi-gh density 1 ipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C). low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in the trea tment group were decreased obviously than that in pre treatment (P<0.05). And the ef ficacy in the treatment group is superior to those in th-e control group (P<0.05).④In improving hemorhelogy both groups showed some changes in key indicators. Compared with before-treatment, there was significant difference in control group (P<0.05), and obvious significant difference in treat group (P<0.01) while treat group prior to control group;⑤Compared with pretreatment. sural nerve current sensory threshold in treatment group was decreased significantly (P<0.05). Two groups comparisons had the significance difference (P<0.05).⑥No untoward effects were observed in the entire treatment process.Conclusion Yiqi-yangyin-tongluo recipe have the protective effect on DPN who belong to the syndrome (Qi and Yin deficiency, phlegm and blood stasis in the collaterals). It can improve clinical symptoms of DPN. decrease the serum lipid level, improve hypercoagulable state, slow down sural nerve current sensory threshold, in order to delay the progress of DPN. It is worthy to be popularized in clinical application.
