Objective:To explore the human epidermal growth factor receptor in triple negative breast cancer with non-triple-negative breast cancer positive differences and differences in the rate of yellow and white positive rate clear whether this difference was statistically significant. Methods: Retrieve PubMed, Elsevier-Sciencedirect, Web of Science database, building a database to retrieve since December 2014, all the relevant English literature.Select study EGFR in TNBC literature and non-TNBC positive rate differences in accordance with the specified inclusion and exclusion criteria. The analysis was performed with Rev-Man 5.2 software. Results:A total of 38 articles were eligible for the meta-analysis, TNBC group of 1006 cases, including 475 cases of positive EGFR, 531 cases of negative EGFR.Non-TNBC group 2945 cases, including 354 cases of positive EGFR, 2591 cases of negative EGFR.A total of 5 articles were research for Caucasian,3articles for Asian. The expression level of EGFR(OR=6.57,95%CI 3.42-12.61,p<0.00001)were higher in TNBC than non-TNBC.In the subgroup related to EGFR expression, the level of EGFR expression was significantly increased in Asians(OR=8.93,95%CI4.16-19.17,p<0.00001) compared with Caucasians(OR=2.79,95% CI 0.99-7.89,p<0.00001)for TNBC patients. Conclusion: The expression level of EGFR were higher in TNBC than non-TNBC.the level of EGFR expression was significantly increased in Asians compared with Caucasians for TNBC patients. EGFR might be important marker to evaluate the prognosis of patients, and may become a therapeutic target for effective improve the prognosis of patients.
