Objective:Analyzing the differences of indexes in the suprachoroidal liquid of retinal detachment with choroid detachment (RDCD) patients with different ages, genders, diopters, severity of diseases and PVR grading, and making preliminary discussion on the nature of suprachoroidal liquid (whether it is exudative or leaky) by detecting the concentration of total protein (TP), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), albumin (propagated), total cholesterol (CHOL), total bilirubin (TBIL) in suprachoroidal liquid of patients who have retinal detachment with choroid detachment (RDCD), thus find out the potential pathogenesis of choroid detachment retina secondary to retinal tear and provide basis for further research and clinical treatment. Methods:In the process of carrying out vitrectomy to treat retinal detachment with choroid detachment (RDCD), puncture suprachoroidal space to collect suprachoroidal fluid. A total of 18 suprachoroidal fluid samples were collected from the choroids of patients who had retinal detachment with choroid detachment (RDCD), and took 18 preoperative serum samples of the above-mentioned patients as experimental group, and 10 serum samples of normal people as control group. Detected the concentrations of trace enzymes (TP), LDH (microplate method), ALB (bromocresol green colorimetry), CHOL (COD-PAP method), TBIL (chemical oxidase standard method) respectively. Adopted SPSS13.0 software to make statistical analysis, t-test to analyze measurement data, x2 and (or) Fisher’s exact probability method to analyze enumeration data. P value<0.05 was considered to be statistically significant. Results:The mean values of TP, LDH, ALB.CHOL and TBIL of 18 suprachoroidal fluid samples were(58844.94±2133.38)μg/ml, (117.87±12.39) U/L, (30.27±1.97) g/L, (4.3010.22) mmol/L and (13.73±0.87)μmol/L respectively; made comparison between two groups which are divided based on ages, genders, diopters, severity of diseases and PVR grading, P> 0.05, so the differences between two groups had no statistical significances. In the comparisons between the concentrations of serum TP, LDH, ALB, CHOL and TBI of experimental group and that of control group, P>0.05, showing no statistically significances. In the comparisons between the concentrations of ALB and CHOL in the suprachoroidal fluid and the serum of experimental group, P>0.05, showing no statistical significances, while in the comparisons between the concentrations of TP,LDH and TBIL in the suprachoroidal fluid and the serum of experimental group, P<0.05, showing statistical significances. Determined the natures of 18 suprachoroidal fluid samples from experimental group based on the diagnosis standard of exudate and transudate, "Light standard" (exudate 17 cases, transudate 1 case),ALB (exudate 14 cases, transudate 4 cases),CHOL (exudate 18 cases, transudate 0 case),TBIL (exudate 16 cases, transudate 2 cases).Adopted gold standard "Light standard" as basic diagnostic method, and used other diagnostic methods to make comparison to perform x2 test on the natures of 18 suprachoroidal fluid samples, P>0.05, showing no statistically significance. Conclusion:The suprachoroidal fluid of RDCD patients composed of TP, LDH, CHOL and TBIL; based on the difference analysis on the natures of suprachoroidal fluid samples taken from 18 patients who had retinal detachment with choroid detachment (RDCD), we think suprachoroidal fluid is more likely to be exudate, which may be associated with inflammation.
