Guke Waiyong cataplasm is a Traditional Medicine, which consists of Rhubarb, Phellodendrine, Scutellaria baicalensis, Paridis Rhizoma and other herbs. It has t-he function of treating closed bone disease, including fractura, bruises, bruising and it also could used for swelling relieving,strengthening tendon and bone and etc.This subject is guided by Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, application of modern technology and methods for the preparation process and quality standards, to ensure scientific, rational preparation and pharmaceutical is safe and effective qua-lity control.The research mainly include the following aspects:1, Study on Preparation Process of Guke Waiyong CataplasmStudy of the matrix prescription: based on the pretest and single factor tests t-o determine the kinds of matrices and range of dosages. With initial adhesion, ho-lding force and cores of comprehensive sensory as the evaluation indexes. The or-thogonal test was used to determine the compositions of matrices. The optimum blank composition of the basic material is :Sodium Polyacrylate(NP-700): Polyvi-nylpyrrolidone(PVP-K90):Propylene glycol:Plycerin:Water:Tartaric acid :Aluminum hydroxide:3%Carbomer(Propylene glycol:Water=1:1)=0.5:0.4:2:3:3:0.1:0.15:2. The demonstration test was used to determine the optimum composition of the viscous in Guke Waiyong cataplasm is affordable, the comfort is good and have stabl-e physical property.Study of the molding process of Guke Waiyong cataplasm: the granularity of the powder, loading capacity, the method of coating and drying time were studied. The best granular is 120 mesh, the loading was 10% of the weight matrices. T-he small-scale coater coating and drying time is 2 days under room temperature.The demonstration test was used to determine the optimum molding process of the viscous in Guke Waiyong cataplasm is affordable, the comfort is good and have stable physical property.2, Study on the quality standard of Guke Waiyong CataplasmTLC identification research: The method of TLC was used to identify Rhubar-b, Phellodendrine, Scutellaria baicalensis, Rhizoma Bletillae, Radix Angelicae dahu-ricae, Ilex pubescens, Paridis Rhizoma. The experiment result show that contrast with standard substance chromatography samples have the same color spots in the corresponding position and negative without interference. The method was availab-le weth a excellent reproducibility.Test:According to the provisions of "China Pharmacopoeia" 2015 edition four general gel paste under. The Forming property, content of ointment, Initial adhesi-on force, Holding capacity, Heat resistance, cold resistance and skin adherence of Guke Waiyong cataplasm were checked. The results are in accordance with the p-rovisions of the Pharmacopoeia.Study on the determination of content of Emodin and Chrysophanol: The met-hod of HPLC was used for determination of the content of Emodin and Chrysophanol in Guke Waiyong cataplasm. With octadecy 18 silane bonded silica as packed column; flowage posture is carbinol-0.1%phosphoric acid(70:30), detect wavel-ength is 254 nm with flow rate 1.0 ml?min-1 and column temperature at 25℃. The result show that the method is feasible, rational and reproducible, can be used f-or the quality control of Guke Waiyong cataplasm. The content of total amount o f Emodin and Chrysophanol shall not be less than 84.69μg in each piece.
