Clinical Rearch On Early And Medium Stage Of Diabetic Nephropathy Treated By Niaoduling Granules

ObjectiveThis research studies etiology and pathogenesis of DN and observe the clinical effect of Niaoduling Granules based on the famous TCM doctor’s proved recipe. The research choose the patients according to the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria of traditional Chinese and western medicine. Then, the patients would be treated by relevant method. By observing the accumulating points of TCM and the index of laboratory, we want to find a more effective drug of DN and expand the application range of Niaoduling Granules.MethodsThis study collects 50 patients suffering DN in the early and middle time and classifies them into treatment group and control group. These two groups choose the appropriate method according to the state of an illness. The patients in treatment group take the Niaoduling Granules. The course of treatment will last 12 weeks. Then, we evaluate the curative effect, accumulating points of TCM and the change of index of laboratory.ResultsUnder the premise of equilibrium of base line, the analysis of statistics says that the effective rate of Niaoduling Granules is 83.33%, which is higher than the result of control group. Moreover, the curative effect, accumulating points of TCM and the change of index of laboratory of the patients in the treatment group are better than the control group. The accumulating points of TCM of the patients in these two groups are much lower after the treatment, but the curative effect is better for the patients in the treatment group (P<0.05), especially for the symptom of turbid urine, physically and mentally fatigued and frequency of urination and yellow. The difference between treatment group and control group is significant (P<0.05).The urine protein, urinary albumin, serum creatinine and glomerular filtration rate of these two groups are better after the treatment, but the urine protein and urinary albumin excretion rate of the patients in the treatment group is better (p<0.05). The glucolipid metabolism and body mass of these two groups are different in comparison to the results before the treatment, but the improvement of fasting blood-glucose, triglyceride and high-density lipoprotein in the treatment group are significantly better than the results in the control group.ConclusionFrom the preliminary analysis of clinical trial, Niaoduling Granules have remarkable curative effect to the patients of DN in the early and middle time. It could lower the urine protein and urinary albumin excretion rate of patients of DN. Meanwhile, it could improve the glucose and lipid metabolism disorder, protect the kidney, and delay the DN. Moreover, it is safe and has no obvious side effect. In summary, the Niaoduling Granules have good curative effect to the patients of DN in the early and middle time and deserve to be expanded and studied deeper.
