Study About The Association Between SNAP-SEP And Sasang People With Korean Medicine

Objective:According to the theory basis of Sasang Constitutional Medicine, through the electrical stimulation median nerve testing and statistical analysis Sensory nerve action potential(SNAP)and Somatosensory stimulation potential(SEP) the relevant nerve conduction parameters. Combine with the results of Sasang discrimination, observe the characteristics of Taeumin, Soeumin, Tayangin and Soyangin’s nerve conduction.Grasp the the association between SNAP-SEP and the Sasang Constitutional Medicine, in order to improve the Sasang discrimination’s accuracy and clinical effective, and to promote the clinical treatment.Methods:Set the control temperature of the laboratory to 26℃, half darkness, moderate humidity and keep quiet. ①1317 volunteers in the experiment from the Yanbian University healthy student. Without any neurological diseases and relevant medical history were randomly divided into two groups. In group A,319 (male 157, female 162), ranging in age from 18 to 35 years old (average age is (19.2±2.3)). Testing Somatosensory evoked potential (SEP). In group B,998 (male 431, female 567), ranging in age from 17 to 36 years old (average age is (18.5±2.8)). testing Sensory nerve action potential (SNAP). ② The participants fill in letter of Sasang discrimination table. Take pictures of the participants’head facial, and the front, side and back of the body, (A total of four), with canon camera in the same laboratory which provides plenty of natural linght (fluorescent lamp). Invite some experts to diagnose sasang constitution on the basis of Sasang discrimination table and relevant subjects photo finishing as materials. Other ways can be further choose to assist the judgment to ensure accuracy of judgment.③ All participants in the experiment should be taken the decubitus, stay calm and relax with eyes closed.④ Test median nerve Somatosensory evoked potential Conduction time from stimulus onset to the induced component, waveform and amplitude. ⑤ Test the Sens++ry nerve action potential, record the changes of incubation period, amplitude and nerve conduction velocity. ⑥ Analyse the relationship and the differences of the Peripheral nervous-central nervous conduction between sasangin their each groups and within the group. Do statistical analysis for the data from the above statistics. To discuss the relationship between the internal environment caused by the different sizes viscera of Sasangin and central nervous system and-peripheral nerve conduction.Results:Group A:① There are statistically significant differences in weight between sasangin their each groups (P<0.05). The weight of Taeumin is heavier than Soeumin’s. There was no statistically significant difference in age, height and gender between sasangin their each groups and within the group (P>0.05).② Taeumin’s N13-wave latency to N20-wave latency (Referred to as N13a-N20a) and N13-wave Peak to N20-wave Peak (Referred to as N13b-N20b) with the right body is longer than left body. There are significant statistical difference (P<0.05).Group B:Compared with the left, the right DD is longer; DA is shorter; W-E Dist is shorter; F-W SCV is slower; W-E SCV is slower, there are statistically significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusions:1. The Characteristics Of Central Nervous:Taeumin’s N13a-N20a and N13b-N20b with the right body is longer than left body (P<0.05).2. The Characteristics of peripheral nervous:Compared with the left, the right DD is longer; DA is shorter; W-E Dist is shorter; F-W SCV is slower; W-E SCV is slower (P<0.05).3. The relation between central nervous and peripheral nervous:Compared with the left, the right DD is longer; DA is shorter; W-E Dist is shorter; F-W SCV is slower; W-E SCV is slower, N13a-N20a and N13b-N20b is longer. Thus it can be seen that the detection result of the same type of Peripheral nervous and central nervous is corresponding to each other.4. Taeumin who’s blood turbidity and qi stagnation of Physical charact-eristics. Taeumin is by nature inclined to be stay, don’t like to exerci- se, finally lead to right-left side different in nerve conduction.
