| Objective:To observe the effect of the Wrist Ankle acupuncture on pain and functional rehabilitation after TKA, which can provide a safe and effective method for the treatment of pain after TKA.Methods:According to the requirements of prospective study,70 patients meeting the standard with unilateral knee arthroplasty were selected and observed randomly (The control group and the experimental group both hold 35 cases). The control group took routine analgesia treatment, while the experimental group was treated with wrist ankle acupuncture on the basis of the control group. Those including visual analogue pain scale, knee swelling degree, range of knee motion, serum IL-6 and TNF-a will be detected respectively 1 day before operation and 3,7,14 days after operation. Finally, Excel software is used to collect datas, and statistical software-SPSS 18.0 is adopted to analysis datas.Result:1-. Visual analogue scaleã€Serum IL-6ã€Serum TNF-a:The above indexes in the experimental group was lower than that of the control group as a whole, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Comparison between groups:there were no significant differences between the two groups 1 day before operation(P>0.05).The P values at third, seventh and fourteenth days after operation were all less than 0.05,which indicated the difference between the two groups was statistically significant.Comparison within groups:The above indexes detected 7 days after operation were lower than those detected 3 days after operation and those detected 14 days after operation were lower than those detected 7 days or 3 days after operation in both groups (the experimental group:P<0.05;the control group:P<0.05),which indicated the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2ã€knee swelling degree:The extent of swelling in the experimental group was lighter than that of the control group as a whole, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Comparison between groups:The P values at seventh and fourteenth days after operation were both less than 0.05,which indicated the difference between the two groups was statistically significant. There were no significant differences between the two groups 7 days after operation (P>0.05).Comparison within groups:The extent of swelling detected 7 days after operation were lighter than those detected 3 days after operation and those detected 14 days after operation were lighter than those detected 7 days or 3 days after operation in both groups (the experimental group:P<0.05;the control group:P<0.05),which indicated the difference in both groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).3ã€degree of knee flexion:The Degree of knee flexion in the experimental group was greater than that of the control group as a whole, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Comparison between groups:there were no significant differences between the two groups 1 day before operation (P>0.05).The P values at third, seventh and fourteenth days after operation were all less than 0.05, which indicated the difference between the two groups was statistically significant.Comparison within groups:Degree of knee flexion measured 7 days after operation were greater than those detected 3 days after operation and those measured 14 days after operation were greater than those measured 7 days or 3 days after operation in both groups (the experimental group:P<0.05;the control group:P<0.05), which indicated the difference in both groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Wrist ankle acupuncture combined with routine analgesia treatment can better relieve the pain and promote functional recovery. The method has the advantages of safe, effective, simple, inexpensive and so on and it is worth to be popularized in the clinical practice. |
