Objective:By studying the physiological and psychological development level of 1-2 years old young children under the condition of a certain maternal prenatal exposure to PFCs,and investigate the effects to the 1-2 years old children. In order to provide health care measures for the healthy growth of children in environmental pollution. Methods:This project is a prospective cohort study, which is divided into three parts. It is based on the study of 0-1 year old infants, and for this part,1-2 years old children need to be researched.Specific methods are as follows:The offspring were divided into two groups, which were exposed and non exposed group. It depends on if their mother’s serum were detected out PFOA and(or) PFOS or not.At first, there were about 171 children. The objects were convened to the appointed hosiptal though telephone or internet.Useing the analysis and evaluation system of physical development of children(NO.HS3010) to collect the data of height and weight, when they were 18 and 24 months. Then, the reference value of the physical development of children under 7 years of age, which was recommended by WHO(2006),was used to evaluated the 171 children in the cohort of physiological indicators. The Denver Developmental Screening table(DDST)(revised edition of Chinese cities) is used as a measuring tool of psychological screening, and evaluate gross motor, fine motor, language ability, social intercourse four development level of 1-2 years old children. After data collection,Epidata3.02 software and IBM SPSS Statistics Data Editor19.0 are used for data inputing and analysis(a =0.05).Results:After a year, there are 19 children missing, and the ratio is 11.11%.In finally, there are about 69 in exposure group and 83 in non-exposure group. Previous study showed that mothers who are exposed to PFCs,the mean of baby’s height, weight, head circumference, and DDST screening compliance rate are lower than that of non exposed group, during the 0-1 years old.Comparing the same sex group’s mean of height and weight when they are 18 and 24 months, the exposure group is lower than the non-exposure group, and the difference is statistical significant( P <0.05).Under the condition of mothers who have been exposed, the group which mother’s sermcan be detected both of PFOA and PFOS is lower than another group which can be detected one of them,on the mean of height and weight( P <0.05).The psychological index DDST also shows the similar result, that the ratio of not reaching standard in exposed group is more than the other one( X218 month=5.630, P18 month=0.018;X224 month=4.255, P24 month=0.039). In the other hand, the analysis of repeated measurement about 0-2years old indicate that exposure PFCs during pregnancy may be effect the heigth of new-born( P <0.05). Conclusion:After the research,it can be concluded that the child whose mother was exposed PFCs during pregnancy will be affected his or her physical and psychological levels of development, when they are in 1-2 years old.If the children were exposed, both their physical and psychological levels of development would lower than that,in the past two years. It should take measures to protect those who may be affected by their mothers PFCs exposure during pregnancy.Suggestion:(1)The relevant departments shall strengthen the perfluorinated compounds production, processing, sales management, strict control of this kind of persistent organic pollutants emissions, effective control of the content of PFCs;(2) for occupational exposure to women of childbearing age should arrange the disengagement of perfluorinated compounds in the post;(3) to have been exposed and cause growth retardation of children to carry out regular monitoring and timely given the appropriate intervention measures, to foster provide scientific feeding knowledge, teach children to do early training. In addition, the parents of PFCs related health education, so that their understanding of the relevant knowledge, to reduce their own exposure to the child in the growth process.
