Objective:To compare moxa moxibustion combined with tropisetron and tropisetron alone in the prevention and treatment of cancer patients with chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, and observe the effects of the acute nausea, delayed nausea, acute vomiting, delayed vomiting, loss of appetite and evaluate its safety.Methods:60 patients with chemotherapy met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment and control groups.The control group use tropisetron and treatment group is based on the control group, combined with moxa moxibustion to Shen Que, Guan Yuan, Zusanli, each acupoint 15min per day,6 times a week,21 days for a course of treatment, a total of 3 courses of treatment.Results:1 chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting:(1)acute nausea:the complete remission rate of treatment group is significantly higher(p<0.05)in the first and third courses and the two groups do not differ large(p>0.05)in the second course(2)delayed nausea:the effective rate of treatment group is significantly higher(p<0.05)in the first and second courses and there is little difference between the two groups(p>0.05)in the third course;the complete remission rate of treatment group is significantly higher(p<0.05 or p<0.01)in all the courses.(3)acute vomitingrthe effective rate of treatment group is significantly higher(p<0.05)in the first course of treatment, there is no significance between the two groups(p>0.05)in the second and third courses;the complete remissionthe rate of treatment group is significantly higher(p<0.05)in the first course, there is no significant difference(p>0.05)in the second and third courses.(4)delayed vomiting:the complete remission rate and effective rate of treatment are both significantly higher(p<0.05 or p<0.01)in the all courses.(5)Loss of appetite:the effective rate of treatment group is significantly higher(p<0.01)in the first and second courses;the two groups are not statistically significant(p>0.05)in the third course.Conclusions.Medicine moxa moxibustion is effective in the treatment of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, and improve patient’s appetite, reduce gastrointestinal side effects of chemotherapy.Medicine moxa moxibustion is safe and adverse events haven’t occurred.
