A Comparison Between The Effects Of Acupuncture And Domoeridone In The Treatment Of Diabetic Gastroparesis

Objective:To observe the effect of acupuncture treatment of diabetic Gastroparesis of the clinical efficacy and safety evaluation, to compare domperidone in the treatment of diabetic gastroparesis clinical advantages.Methods:using simple random number table meet the inclusion criteria of 60 cases of diabetic Gastroparesis were randomly divided into acupuncture group and medication group of two group, two group ratio of 30:30.60 patients were treated with diabetes education, diet, oral hypoglycemic agents or insulin treatment, blood glucose control at a stable level. Acupuncture group used acupoint Zhongwan and Zusanli (bilateral), Neiguan (bilateral) as the main points, to impose moxibustion Zhongwan and Zusanli bilateral). The medication group used domperidone. Observed after a course of treatment (about a month), two groups of patients with diabetic gastroparesis symptoms change, and the efficacy and safety of acupuncture and domperidone.Results:the acupuncture group and a medication group, treatment of diabetic gastroparesis were both effective, gastrointestinal diseases in traditional Chinese medicine symptom rating scale scores before and after treatment scores were lower that both groups are better than before, and acupuncture group’for whole body symptoms was significantly better than the domperidone group (P< 0.01); in safety evaluation, acupuncture group safety is better than that of the domperidone group.Conclusion:(1)Acupuncture can treat diabetic gastroparesis. (2) acupuncture and domperidone can both improve the symptoms of diabetic gastroparesis, but the acupuncture group was better than domperidone, and the other improvement of overall symptoms. (3) acupuncture lead lower incidence rate of adverse reaction compared with domperidone, higher safety.
