The Clinical Researches On Diabetic Gastroparesis Treated With Acupuncture

Diabetic gastroparesis is one of the chronic complications of diabetes mellitus.the pathology changes of automatic nervous system cause diabetic gastroparesis.Hypomotility and step down lead to food stasis in sinus ventriculi and make the symptoms of upper gastrointestinal arise.DGP effects diabetes to control the blood glucose.Out of control blood glucose is the fundamental reason of sever complication which threatens the patient's living quality.Resarchs indicate that needling some acupoints can adjust gastric motility and gastric secretion in two-way optimum.the author assumed that therapeutic effect is satisfactory to acupuncture on diabetic gastroparesis.The history of DGP is near fifty years since 1958.The Detection rate is 46.3% ~ 62% in diabetes mellitus in different diagnostic method.The etiopathogenisis and pathogenesy not yet completely identify.Most scholar think that hyperglycemia and autonomic neuropathy play a critical roles.With the advancement of medical science in physiology.Pathology and immunology,the diagnostic method and indicatrix are unceasing consummate.DGP belongs to the syndrome of feeling fullness and distension in the upper abdomen of Chinese medicine.The pathogenesis is long time of diabetes leads sputum,moist,stagnat blood to block middle energizer.Which result in dys-splenism and stomach-QI being unable to descend normally.We should deal with fundamental illness and assist the transportation and transformation of middle energizer.In this clinical research,we seive middle epigastrium,Foot threeli,stomachshu, spleen shu,pancreas shu,taichu-ng,sanyinchiao caves basing on experiences of tutor and modern documents.To compare therapeutic effects of acupuncture with cisapride in relieving diabetic gastroparesis.their therapeutic effects are evaluated by indexes of therapeutic effect.The results as follows:Sixty cases are randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group,30 cases in each group.The treatment group are treated by acupuncture and the control group by oral administration of cisapride 10mg,t.i.d.Results:the significant effective rate is 60% in the treatment group and 30% in the control group with a difference of statisticsC P<0.01),the total effective rate is 93.3% in the treatment group and 80% in the control group with a significant difference between the two groups ( P< 0.05) .The blood glucose decrease obviously after treatment in two groups (P< 0.01) .Difference of two groups is not statistically significant (P>0.05) . The adverse effect in the treament group is less than that in the control group (P<0.01) .Conclusion -.Acupuncture can signficantly relieve diabetic gastroparesis,the therapeutic effect being better than cisapride with less adverse effects.
