Purpose:To objectively evaluate the efficacy and safety of advanced non-small cell lung cancer with different TCM syndrome types treatment by grain-sized moxibustion,so as to provide clinical reference for grain-sized moxibustion treatment and promotion in non-small cell lung cancer. Methods:The patients who met the inclusion criteria were from March 2015 to April 2016 in Department of traditional Chinese medicine and Oncology Department of Drum Tower hospital affiliated to Nanjing university school of medicine were randomly divided into control group and grain-sized moxibustion group with the stratified random sampling method. Both two groups were given symptomatic and supportive treatment and 1-2 kinds of commonly used traditional Chinese Medicine. Patients in the grain-sized moxibustion group received basic therapy and grain-sized moxibustion treatment once per day,7 moxa cones each acupoint for 14days. Observe respiratory system clinical symptom score, KPS score and adverse events between the two groups of patients.Result:1.Comparison between two groups of grain-sized group and control group:1)The effective rate in grain-sized moxibustion group is 86.67%,higher than 63.33% of the control group, the difference is statistically significant (P<0.05).2)The respiratory clinical symptom include cough, sputum, chest tightness, chest pain, asthma and other respiratory symptoms of grain-sized moxibustion improvement is significantly better than the control group (P< 0.05),but sputum with blood is not obvious. (P> 0.05).3)The KPS score of grain-sized moxibustion group is higher than the control group, whose difference is statistically significant (P<0.05).4)No serious adverse events occurred in the two groups, and the incidence rate is not statistically significant.2.The comparison between two disease types of grain-sized moxibustion:1)The effective rate of moxibustion group with spleen deficiency syndrome is 92.85%, the effective rate of two Qi and yin deficiency syndrome is 81.25%,but there is no significant difference (P<0.05)2) The improvement in cough, sputum symptom of the spleen deficiency phlegm dampness syndrome group is better than the Qi-Yin deficiency group(P<0.05), but the improvement in other respiratory symptoms is not obvious. Conclusion:On the basis of TCM Fuzheng Kangai and nutrition support therapy, the using of grain-sized moxibustion would better improve respiratory symptoms, especially in patients with cough, sputum, chest tightness, asthma symptoms.Grain-like moxibustion treatment for spleen deficiency type patients with cough and expectoration improved obviously. The efficacy and safety in the treatment of grain-like moxibustion in non-small cell lung cancer, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
