Study On Relationship Between Polymorph ISM Site Rs5744168 Of TLR5 And AAV Patients In Guangxi Han Population

Objective:To investigate single nucleotide polymorphism site rs57441 68 of Toll-like receptors 5(TLR5) and to detect the relationship with sus ceptibility to ANCA associated small vasculitis (AAV) in Guangxi Han na tionality.Methods:polymorphism was analyzed by polymerase chain restricted fr agments length polymorphism in 120 cases with AAV and 212 controls. C linical and pathologic data of the patients with different genotype were al so compared.Results:(1) The TT genotype of TLR5rs5744168 were missing in Gua ngxi Han nationality; the CC genotype frequencies in each group were (2) There are two genotypes in AAV group and control group, CC and CT. The frequencies distribution of TLR5rs5744168 genotype CC and CT in 1 20 AAV patients were 82.50% and 17.50%,respectively; and the frequenci es of allele C and T were 91.25% and 8.75%, respectively. In controls, the genotype frequencies of CC and CT were 88.68% and 11.32%, respec tively; with frequencies of allele C and T were 94.34% and 5.66%, respe ctively.No significant difference was found in either genotype distribution or allele frequencies between the patients and the controls in rs5744168 si te of TLR5 in AAV of Guangxi Han nationality(P>0.05). (3) Significant reductions in the incidence of BUN, Uric acid, quantitative test of 24h u rinary protein and erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR) was found in CC g enotype than those in CT genotype(P< 0.05). In AAV patients, wheth er two genotypes in AI or CI differences had no statistical significance(P <0.05).(4) In a binary regression model with a logit link function,we f ound that the rs5744168 might be not a risk factor for AAV(OR=0.83,9 5%CI:0.24-2.89,P=0.779),but TC come to have something to do with AA V.Conclusion:The susceptibility of AAV in Guangxi Han population has nothing to do with the polymorphism of rs5744168 in TLR5 gene. In AA V patients,TLR5 rs5744168 gene polymorphism may be associated with E RS,BUN, Uric acid and quantitative test of 24h urinary protein levels.
