Influence Over Self-Made Stomach- Nourishing Decoction On The Acetic Acid Intragastric Administration-Caused Gastric Mucosal Injury Mice

Purpose:Discuss on the impact ofFour Mild Drugs Decoction on the acetic acid intragastric administration-caused gastric mucosal injury mice.Methods:1.50 male mice were divided randomly into 5 groups:control group, gastric mucosal injury group, positive control group (omeprazole group), Four Mild Drugs Decoction high dosage group and Four Mild Drugs Decoction low dosage group,10 mice in each group respectively. Groups of mice were raised separately.2. Mice were administrated e. g. with acetic acid to create experimental gastric mucosal injury model except in control group. All mice were kept with normal food and water 24 hours after building model. Mice in positive control group (omeprazole group), Four Mild Drugs Decoction high dosage group and Four Mild Drugs Decoction low dosage group were treated with medicine.3. Mice were restricted with food but water for 24 hours after 21 days durable treatment, and collected eyeball blood which were stored under-20℃ after centrifugation. Then mice were cut and collected with stomachs. Stomach walls were cut and rinsed with saline then observed. All samples were preserved with saline and stored under 4℃4. Gastric mucosa was observed by eyes generally to check the amounts of pepsin activity and gastrin serum (GAS).5. Statistics and data analysis with SPSS 19.0 software package.Result:1. Compared with Four Mild Drugs Decoction low dosage group and gastric mucosal injury group, the pepsin activity decreases with significant difference (P<0.05). Compared with Four Mild Drugs Decoction high dosage group and gastric mucosal injury group, the pepsin activity decreases with significant difference (P<0.01).2. Compared with Four Mild Drugs Decoction low dosage group and gastric mucosal injury group, the gastrin serum (GAS) decreases with significant difference (P<0.05). Compared with Four Mild Drugs Decoction high dosage group and gastric mucosal injury group, the gastrin serum (GAS) decreases with significant difference (P<0.01).Conclusion:Four Mild Drugs Decoction has protection on the acetic acid intragastric administration-caused gastric mucosal injury mice with the mechanism of lower the amounts of pepsin activity and gastrin serum (GAS).
