Objective: To explore the influence of combined application of Pseudomonas Aeruginosa injection and Pidotimod in different periods of time to the immune state of RGH guinea pig model, so as to indirectly reveal the effect of human RGH patients after long-term intermittently taking immunomodulator. Methods: We gained the RGH guinea pig model by using HSV-2 sav to infect female guinea pig which have never been infected by HSV infection. The double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) was used to test the concentration(pg/ml) of IL-5, IL-10, IL-13 and IFN-γ in guinea pig serum which got from the different medication period group(sampled 3 months, 6 months and 12 months espectively), RGH guinea pig model group(nonmedication) and blank control group. After that, we compared the data between each group. Results: Serum IL-5, IL-10 and IL-13 levels of RGH guinea pigs model group are significantly higher than blank control group. Serum IL-5, IL-10 and IL-13 levels of guinea pigs in different drug use time are all lower than RGH guinea pig model group, with significant differences(p<0.01). While IFN-γ concentration of RGH guinea pigs model are significantly lower than blank control group, and IFN-γ concentration of guinea pigs in different drug use time are all higher than RGH guinea pig model group, with significant differences(p<0.05). Conclusions: Combined application of Pseudomonas Aeruginosa injection and Pidotimod in different periods of time can correct differentiation state of cellular and humoral immunity of RGH guinea pig model.
