Objective:Through the diet balance index (DBI) of 107 patients with ulcerative colitis (UC) included dietary quality evaluation, revealing the dietary quality of the UC patients with objective data, reflected in patients with nutritional status and patients gender, age, course of disease, frequency of recurrence, cultural level and anxiety scores and statistical analysis, to explore the factors affecting the quality of patients with diet. Causing the attention of patients and clinicians and take corresponding measures to improve the situation, to comply with both the disease from exacerbating treatment before disease theory. Methods:Chose 107 patients with UC that meet inclusion criteria for the study from Outpatient Department and wards, filling in registration form of general information, using food frequency questionnaires (FFQ) to record daily diet, and the DBI was used to evaluate the results. Descriptive analysis was used to discribe information records, statistical analysis was used to describe the related issues, all the data were analyzed by SPSS 18 analysis software, statistical methods include t test, non parametric test et al. Results:(1) There are 107 patients in the statistics, there are 50 male patients, femalepatients for 59 people, the two ratio is 1:1.18. (2) The average age of the patients was 44.73+11.79, the female was 45.61+12.27, themale was 43.72+11.24, by the t test we can know the P value was 0.838> 0.05, it was proved that there was no significant difference between the different age groups and the patients. (3)The BMI of the patients between before and after, the average value is 0.85+1.07, ninepatients in weight gain,24 without significantly reduce, the remaining 74 there is different degree of weight reduce and with the increase of the course of disease, the weight of patients with ulcerative colitis (UC) has a obvious decreasing trend. (4)Studying in the dietary quality of 107 patients with UC, we can find that DBI-TS isgenerally a non positive, the statistics that minimum-36, the maximum value is 0, the average-19.5+7.5.49.5% distribution in-20~-11-30~-21, the largest number of people reached 29%,-10~-1 and-40~-31 are 11.2%. (5) DBI-LBS shows that men and women are mainly concentrated in the moderately and highly inadequate intake, the number of patients in moderate intake is the maximum, and more women than men, but DBI-LBS between different gender had no statistical significance (P= 0.313> 0.05).(6)Moderate intake deficiency mainly concentrated in the 38-47 years old, there is more patients of high intake deficiency during 48-57 years old. Through the non parametric test shows that P=0.369 is more than 0.05, showed no statistically significant difference between DBI-LBS and age.(7) The rural population of this survey is less, accounted for 29.9% of the total number, the main part of the city accounted for the group. In the normal population distribution is directly related to the DBI-LBS score and survey of the residence. But from the statistical results, DBI-LBS of the patients with UC and the patient’s residence is not statistically significant. (P=0.189>0.05).(8)There are 6 patients that the average annual recurrence times less than 1 times,1-2 times is 38,3-5 times is 49, sustained is 14 people, to discuss the correlation between UC and DBI-LBS in patients with disease recurrence times, the non parametric test shows P=0.007<0.05,there is significant difference in the DBI-LBS scores of patients with the number of year recurrence(9)Among 107 patients in the normal state is 61, mild anxiety has 29 people, moderate anxiety is 12 people, moderate anxiety is 5, the SAS score minimum value for 29 great value for 81, the average score was 49.3±12.5, the vast majority of severe patients with anxiety and the corresponding dietary in high degree insufficient, low intake of insufficient patients with 48 people without anxiety,81.4% of the total. From the test results that the two P=0.00< 0.05, and have significant difference.(10) In this research, the number of the patients whose course of disease is under five years is higher, low, moderate and high intake deficiency in duration of 1 to 5 years were more, from the test results we know that the P value is 0.320, greater than 0.05, showing no significant difference in the DBI-LBS score and course of disease.(11) The patients’cultural degree mainly concentrated in the junior and high school, the patients of middle-low intake deficiency is more in cultural degree of high school.During middle-high intake deficiency, the number of junior high school and senior high school and secondary school is similar, and patients of high intake deficiency are mainly in junior high school culture, according to the statistical analysis of P value was 0.029. Is less than 0.05, and DBI-LBS proved that there was a significant difference between the degree of culture.(12) DBI-HBS, the positive end of the value of DBI, used to describe the excessive intake of patients, there is no excessive intake,98.1% of the people are suitable or low excess.(13) DBI-DQD is called the dietary quality of distance is a measure of the overall balance of survey, patients with UC mainly exists in severe imbalance, the imbalance reached moderate 69.2%, severe imbalance 16.8%.Conclusion:(1) 91% of patients with UC exist in severe dietary intake insufficient situation, was significantly higher than that of normal population of 78%, in different age, gender, disease, recurrence frequency, duration length, culture level and the level of anxiety, long-term residence makes different DBI-LBS levels. Patient management knowledge needs to be improved.(2) No significant differences exist in patients’ gender, age and residence, and the course of DBI-LBS, there were significant differences in culture, and patients with anxiety scores, the annual recurrence times...
