Bronchial tuberculosis is a major cause of the airway stenosis. This airway stenosis was u sually cured by Surgery previously. But the perioperative inadequate preparation, intraoperative risks and postoperative complications make the operative difficulty increases obviously, affecting the prognosis of patients directly or indirectly. With the rapid development of interventional techniques in recent years, this technology is expected to make up for the inadequacy of surgical treatment. This technology including microwave therapy, balloon dilatation, cold therapy, high frequency electric therapy, laser therapy and stents implantation and so on. However, there still exists some disputes about its security and effectiveness, and has not yet formed a set of effective unified standards. Here is to make a review of the research progress and relevant questions in interventional treatment for airway stenosis.
