Purpose To explore the Clinical value of the 3D- LAVA sequence with MIP technology in portal vein display and three dimensional reconstruction.Methods Collected 64 patients who did abdominal scan and enhanced MRI exam,at the first affiliated hospital of Chongqing medical university in the middle of march to may, 2015. Use GE 1.5 T Signa HDxt mri machine(American GE company).The Scan sequence including:FSE 、 FIESTA 、 FSPGR sequence,et al.The enhancement sequence adopt LAVA sequence,observe the portal vein display in portal phase.And do digital subtraction and MIP three-dimensional reconstruction with the portal phase image at the GE ADW4.6 post-processing workstation.Observe the trunk and branch of the portal venous displayed in the reconstruction image.Select the coronal and axial view picture, according to each display situation of the branch,analysis the effective element,what disturbed the display of the three dimensional reconstruction image of the portal venous.Results1.In the 64 cases who did upper abdomen enhancement magnetic resonance examination,94%(60/64) cases the trunk and the branches of the portal vein shows good,3cases with obvious respiratory movement, interfere the portal vein display;1 case with left liver resection,the portal vein branch of the rest right liver are small,only part of the portal vein enhancement. When the portal venous tumor emboli formed, the location and the boundary of the tumor emboli can be showed clear in the portal phase.2.The MIP three dimensional reconstruction image of Portal vein Rotate the 64 cases three-dimensional reconstruction image and observe the portal vein,57 cases can display the second level branch or above,the display rate achieved 89%.5 cases only found the portal trunk and level 1 branch, 2cases the trunk and branch of the portal vein did’t displayed in the reconstruction image. During the spinning process, in axis direction the portal vein branch shows the most clear, the coronary shows the worst.The portal venous tumor emboli, in the three-dimensional reconstruction image shows like filling-defect,according to the blocking degree of the tumor emboli, the distal portal vein may display or not seen,when completely blocked displayed as the truncation sign.ConclusionUsing 3D- LAVA sequence enhanced Magnetic resonance technical can get a clear image about the portal vein,the reconstruction can display the branchs and contorts of the portal vein directly,level 2 and above of the portal vein branch implies a 89% rate,3D-LAVA sequence can be used as a first choice for three-dimensional imaging of portal venous.
