Objective:Assessment postoperative quantitative of correction nasolabial folds with hyaluronic filling by three-dimensional scanning technology, establish a new assessment method to measure facial nasolabial fold, and verify the feasibility and accuracy of the measurement methods. Methods:In this study, we used hyaluronic acid to correct nasolabial folds 40 cases of the score 3 points or 4 points, and evaluated the subjects of nasolabial severity and facial overall cosmetic effect. Then, to capture preoperative and postoperative points of patients three-dimensional data with VTOP scanner, we made the preoperative data as a reference baseline. After that, using Geomagic Qualify 13.0 software to measure and comparing these data, such as the effective volume,2D dimensions, three deviation. The result:1. No subject was appearing severe allergic reactions. Localized swelling and pain, was self-improvement in a week.2. Subjects and researchers at various time points scoring had consistent trend about nasolabial severity and facial overall cosmetic effect, besides, the hyaluronic acid still had curative effect after four months. But the subjects scoring average was lower than researchers score.3. The volume of nasolabial folds measured three-dimensional scanner was 0.50ml one week after injection, and 0.56ml after one month, and 0.49ml after two months, and 0.43ml after three months, and 0.32ml after four months.4. The 2D analysis showed height of nasolabial folds was 2.38mm after one week, 2.06mm after one month,2.01mm after two months,1.48mm after three months, and 0.85mm after four months.5. Comparing the volume of the measured postoperative one week and the actual injection volume when did verify accuracy (P> 0.05), it has no quantity difference.Conclusion:1. Using hyaluronic acid to inject filling nasolabial folds had good effect and was secure.2. Through four months clinical studies, we confirm that three-dimensional scanning technology can be used to assess long-term effect of nasolabial folds filled with hyaluronic acid.3. This measurement method has high accuracy, good repeatability, and is worth further popularization and application.
