Objective:Retrospective analysis of clinical data of patients with severe acute panc reatitis, to find the risk factors of infected pancreatic and(or) peripancreatic tissues(IP), to provide reference for clinical prevention and treatment. Methods: From January 2009 to December 2014,136 patients were selected for research, were divided into two groups according to whether there is IP :IP group was 29 cases, 107 cases were not; univariate statistical analysis were applied to compare the general data, complications, biochemical test, anamneses, primary pancreatitis or recurrent pancreatitis, treatments, and then select the variables that were statistically significant, and then analyzed those variables by multivariate Logistic regression analysis. Results:According to the statistical analysis results showed that the infected group and non infected group in age, MCTSI score,APACHE II score(≤ 48 hours), temperature, percentage of formation of pancreatic pseudo cyst, duration of enteroparalysis(day), Percentage of neutrophils, Blood urea nitrogen, recurrent pancreatitis, Percentage of mechanical ventilation, fasting time and placement of peritoneal drainage tube has statistical significance(P<0.05),were risk factors for the develop-ment of IP in patients with SAP. Multiple multivariate Logistic regression showed that age(OR=1.044,95%CI=1.001-1.088),duration of enteroparalysis(OR=1.561, 95%CI=1.069-2.281) and recurrent pancreatitis(OR= 5.953,95%CI=1.260-28.130) were independent risk factors for the development of IP in patients with SAP.Conclusions:The age, duration of enteroparalysis(day) and recurrent pancreatitis are independent risk factors for the development of IP in patients with SAP, while MCTSI score,APACHE II score(≤ 48 hours),temperature, percentage of formation of pancreatic pseudo cyst, percentage of neutrophils, Blood urea nitrogen, Percentage of mechanical ventilation, fasting time and placement of peritoneal drainage tube are also associated with IP,although not as strong as independent risk factors.
