Shen Hanguang, one of the surviving adherents of the Ming Dinasty who chose not toallegiance to Qing Dinasty, had led a quiet attractive life. Not only was he highly prised by hispolitic group members such as the famous Gu Yanwu, but also he was highly valued by thegovernment officers of Qing. His splendid personal chairsma and outstanding literaryachievements had gathered a group of his likeminded poets, who later formed He Shuopersusasion.
